the apartment is very nice. all the staff are just wonderful and always helpful. Thinks are always fixed right away and the buidling has a great atmosphere.

The building manager, Virgil, and the front door guys, especially Mike, Seo, Troy and Jose, as well as all the other front door people are great. My neighbours are terrible and Virgil is quick to respond to try and figure out situations. This building is way better than Riverbank West (where I just moved from) including the leasing office staff to a large degree.

When I just move in to NYC I was concern regarding rent a place to live. With TFC the process was very easy and smoothie, no traumas. I highly recommend the company to everyone.

Great staff and front office communication. Building is run very well. Only slight disappointment was in flexibility in negotiating starting rent date. They kind of shove a 2 week from now lease start date at you with no flexibility.

NOT a luxury building but the doormen/woman and super are great and very responsive. The leasing agents will not be forthcoming about renovations and noise issues--Trust me on this one... I moved in and had to have the ac replaced and then the radiator--it was 80 in my apartment and I had to stay in a hotel because it took almost a week to replace the radiatore parts but I wasn't reimbursed for the hotel. And now my refrigerator is leaking water inside. It's neverending here... The walls have been repainted again and again leaving thick layers of paint and even the renovated bathroom was not done that well. They left exposed tile molding instead of finishing it off. It looks terrible. The closets are from the the 60ies and squeak so loudly when you open them-I can hear the neighbor's everytime they open them. They replaced the windows with really nice new ones but left the plastic covering on to protect from debris from surface renovations so you can't even look out your windows and get a clear view. This is not a luxury building despite what the sign outside says. I would look elsewhere if at all possible.

Leasing office and staff at 2 Gold St are friendly and extremely responsive. The TF Cornersone corporate office is a different story. I interacted with them once to get my online account for rent payment setup, but it took them 3 days to respond to me via email.
