The service was good till lease was to be signed. After that they became pretty much non responsive. They do not even tell you clearly where and whom to contact in case of an issue. The after leasing service needs tremendous improvement.

I suggest otherwise
The second star is only because the doormen are great... Really nice people. However, the amenities are terrible and close very early - 11PM and 10PM on Sundays! The WIFI hardly works and while the pictures look cool, nothing except for one pool table in a small area is a functional use of space. I have lived here 3 years and not once has anyone asked me 'hey, how is your experience?' 'what could we be doing better' - they don't care.

Drilling
Drilling so loud we can’t sleep
We have been woken up every day since we moved due to the drilling and we were promised that there wouldn’t be drilling prior to 8:00am. Nice place but the drilling has completely ruined what would happen been a great experience so far.

Customer
No reply / Deliberate no interaction with customer.
I tried to contact the company and talk to someone to enquire about rental payment modalities, as I think I am due for payment but it does not appear on my online profile.
For five days, I got only voicemails, no one available to talk to the customer. Then, after insisting with the operator to be connected to somebody, I was connected to Mr. Joseph Bass ( I guess), who left me on hold for over 15 minutes, after which I hung up, as I believe it is both a lack of courtesy and efficiency to leave a customer hanging that way.
Perhaps it is the company's policy to not "talk" to people and only waste their time by forcing them to lenghty email exchanges to clarify simple issues, however it is not mine. I would expect a much better customer service.
This same process is unnecessarily complicated, as it is asking me to create some "Trust-pilot account", which I have no intention at all of doing and I am forced to, only to see if anybody will ever reply.
Nice reply, below: "This is unusual" (Mistrust?) and "Please reach out to your lease specialist etc.." . So, it is once again the customer's job to reach out to someone solve the issue? By the way, you provided no contact: who would "my" leasing specialist be ?
FYI, it no longer matters. Problem solved, not by this review/blog. Thank you.

Hello Alessio - this type of miscommunication is highly unusual and we would very much like to help you with this issue. If you would please reach out to your Leasing Specialist directly, they will help address this with you. Thank you.

Severe Noise Issues - Aviation Activity
Riverfront buildings especially 4540 are exposed to very loud and frequent helicopter/airplane traffic flying directly adjacent/over apartment. Helicopters start early in the morning and you feel like you live literally in an active war zone. TFC should lobby on tenants' behalf to end this severe disruption to peaceful living. It's not healthy or sustainable.

Returning great tenant
I was a bit disappointed in how I was treated as a returning tenant to this complex after many years away from NYC. I recently moved back to NYC, I was extremely excited and wanted to move back to TF Cornerstone, where I spent several years living when the building first opened...loved it. When I decided to move back, I was upset that I was not given any wiggle room to negotiate my rent...I do understand it's a business, but when you are a loyal tenant that paid rent on time with no concerns, who decides to move back, I was given the cold shoulder. To add insult to injury, I'm paying a high rent and not able to use my balcony! This has been going on for months and when asking status of when it will open, no one seems to want to be responsible in answering this question. I'm extremely upset and not sure if I would recommend this place to anyone. You shouldn't treat loyal customers this way!

Locked out of balcony space for 4 months!!
One of the key reasons I moved here was the balcony space. At the time, the leasing office told me that there would be a few weeks of reinforcing the balcony... That was September and now I have been told we can access the space in January 2017!!
All the while we are being charged rent for the entire square footage inclusive of the balcony space (which we cannot access)
When I wrote to the managment regarding this asking that the building do something to discount the rent going forward proportionately with the square footage of the balcony, I was fobbed off with a one liner response." We dont deal with that "
Very disappointed at the management.
Love the staff but this is just ridiculous and against leasing laws
