I used BarMax to study for the bar exam with success. I had previously used Barbri without success. I appreciate that BarMax uses real MBE questions as well as concise explanations of the answers. I would recommend BarMax.

I just found out today that I passed the bar exam on my first try! This even after being out of law school for 12 years and not being granted all of my required testing accommodations. I could have never done this without BarMax, and more importantly, BarMax’s private tutor I hired, Matias Gonzalez. Matias became personally invested in my success and me failing was never an option for him. He was there with me every step of the way throughout the journey. He cares deeply about the success of his students and by incorporating his advice into my study schedule, I was ultimately able to succeed and pass the exam. I scored a 268 on the Uniform Bar Exam, which is well enough to transfer into numerous other states, if ever needed. If you work full-time, you should seriously consider BarMax. And if you find yourself needed an additional boost from a tutor, you should seriously give Matias Gonzalez consideration. I had a great privilege to work with Matias Gonzales as my tutor. Even though generally speaking I am not a big fan of tutoring, Matías was recommended to me by Celeste with TestMax and as it turned out it was an excellent fit. Matias is an exceptional teacher, listener, interlocutor, and has a fine understanding of individual student's needs and skills. He certainly inspired me with his attitude and I really think that the tutoring hours spent with Matias were my most intensive study time. He also assisted me with creating a game plan, utilizing all the TestMax wonderful resources, just a few weeks prior to the exam time, and held me accountable for it. El material es digerible y las lecciones dan en general buenos ejemplos. El poder hacer MBE questions en tu teléfono es muy práctico. Pero la gran diferencia es la tutoría. 100% recomendable Matías Gonzales. Excelente tutor para la barra. Si bien, todas las sesiones las hacíamos en inglés, dudas o temas complejos los podíamos discutir en español, lo que facilita la comprensión de temas para quienes hicimos law school en español y comparte excelentes tips para saber que es lo que buscan los graders al calificar. Matías no es solo un gran tutor, es un motivador y nato y un gran apoyo moral para enfrentar un bar exam.

Matias is the absolute best tutor you could ask for. He is organized, professional and truly cares about his students. I worked with him for 3 months prior to taking the UBE. He immediately identifies your strengths and weaknesses and tailors a personal study schedule for you based on your personal schedule. His method for writing the MEEs and the MPTs is clear and easy to understand and will surely land you on the pass list. I truly cannot recommend him enough- you will thank me if you hire him!

I was 10 minutes late and the tutor only stayed 10 minutes and I lost a $200 session. When I called William answered and kept talking over me and didn’t offer me any advice just kept forcing me to be okay with this policy. When you pay for $200 sessions, you expect no matter if your 10 minutes late to still be entitled to the hour of service you paid for. William hung up on me because I was expressing my dissatisfaction because this is the second session this happened to me. If you want to get ripped off go with this company because obviously that’s all they’re interested in.
