I was genuinely disappointed with my experience. I chose Termly because it was advertised as offering a free one-time use, so I invested the time to complete the lengthy questionnaire. Only after finishing did I discover that I couldn't actually use the generated terms in a practical way. The document is locked inside a proprietary editor that doesn't allow simple copy-and-paste, and the HTML export isn't compatible with our Markdown-based website. As a result, the "free" version wasn't usable for my needs. While the company may be technically accurate in describing the offer as "free," the limitations aren't made clear upfront. I would have appreciated greater transparency before spending the time completing the entire process. Unfortunately, the experience felt misleading and frustrating.

Hi Rajat, Thanks for the detailed feedback. To clarify one thing: the Free plan's scope, one policy, HTML-embeddable output, is listed on our pricing page, so nothing about what's included was hidden. That said, I hear the real issue: knowing a feature exists and knowing whether it'll actually fit your specific setup (a Markdown-based site, in your case) are two different things, and that's not something a feature list communicates well on its own. That's a fair gap for us to close, regardless of what's disclosed pricing-wise. I'd like to help directly, reach out to me at [email protected] and I'll see what we can do to get you a version of your policy that actually works for your site. Regards, Raouia Termly Support
