We had a bee swarm in a tree in our shared yard in mid-LA. Terminix comes regularly to our community for other issues and told us they "would not kill any bees" and would only spray a "repellent to make them relocate". They came and sprayed at some point and we are finding handfuls of dead bees and other dead insects around the site. Whatever they used is toxic and they lied about what they were doing. Do not trust them with anything.

We use Terminix (Miranda Harrison) for pedt control at our property at 244 Pearl St Fort Myers Beach, FL and we are very happy.

Once this contract is up I am done with terminix, charging me 230.00 a month, and they stop in for ten minutes every 4 months and leave, hand me a couple traps and put them down myself, I'm done with this company. Bob Crocker, salem nh.

Terminix changed my appointment from 12- 3 p.m. suddenly to 3-5 p.m. No show by 5 p.m., the technician leaves a voicemail I can only hear 3 words of it and shows up at 5:45 p.m. He took $1,450 from me but said the office was closed so he could not set up the appointment to get the work done. I called the next day and the phone system said they have too many calls and they will call me back if I press "1". I had to go out, missed the call back. Started over, called again, after the long wait again they go to press 1 for a call back. They called back and said it will take two days to set up an appointment. Then the head of the termite division called me when it is a rat problem, and made an appointment for 8-10 a.m. today. The tech who came out said they won't come to your door at 8 a.m. only to find out that yes they will. The guy who called me asked me if the tech who was here at night gave me an appointment after I told the lady on the phone it was 7 p.m. before he finished and he did not set up an appointment. Now they are not here and my guess is another phone call will roll in around 11 a.m. saying they are hours late. They took the money from me before doing the job. They are disorganized, they lie and lie, they do not answer their phone, you have to wait for a call back. It's 3 days in a row now of Terminix holding me up with late appointments, not showing up, not answering the phone. Lots and lots of problems. Another time I tried to get gutter guards only to work hard to get an appointment set up and then have someone call me a few days later to tell me they do not do gutter guards. No one knows what anyone is doing and so they lie and try to cover up the never ending mistakes.

Bad service, fraudulent report. Saying to return to complete job and writing in report return in one year. Dishonest, unreliable and poor service. After our service is a joke, return call is a faulty line with loud noises probably to avoid providing services after hours. Once I spoke with someone who told me to text and the phone was another set up, text did not go through. Do not do business with Terminex. I am surprised they are in business. Once my contract expires, it’s forever over with Terminex

should be zero stars i had sold my home in december 2020 and trying to cancel and get a refund for jan -june since jan 1st 2021 i have called terminix many times, emailed martin hood which is the branch, area or regional manager in orange park florida.. not sure what his position is.. i have been told different titles i have left voicemails for the technician that did call me back wanting to know what he did wrong that i wanted to cancel. i have told them all that nothing was wrong. i just want to cancel and get my prorated refund and the new homeowner has their own termite insurance.. now when i call the recording says they are busy and then after a long hold time it says to call back or they will call me back. i finally asked for a callback but it was from a person 200 miles away and would not connect me to the the orange park fl office because her service manager told her that it was in the hands of the manager and he hasnt updated the file but they left a message for the asst manager to call me...i said that if they havent called since january they are probably not going to call now. i still have not recvd that call. i tried to do this like a normal business should do but now i will have to contact the BBB and the terminix corporate office. i believe 3 months is way too long to term my plan & get a refund.. i will NOT be using terminix again and will warn family, friends and social media about this unacceptable cust NO SERVICE.. we may have to contact the news stations and file a complaint with the attorney general, really terminix, do you need the approx 200.00 that bad ??

We have a rat issue in my home. We come to learn they are coming from many spots in the house and that’s why we called Terminex to fix the issue. When we first got Terminex, we had a really great time w/ them. They came out, plugged the holes, put bait around the outside & inside the house. It was great! We were working with a technician named James and he was kind. I enjoyed being able to call him if we caught a rat/ mouse. He would be on the way to my house to grab the deceased. But…. I noticed that all the work they were doing in and around the house were not adding up as we still had a major rat issue. Months go by and I’m still stuck trying to find out where this rat issue is coming from. From inside the house we learned the rat was coming into the kitchen and in our closet in the hallway. It’s gross and absolutely unsanitary… when I told the technician about it. He contacted another technician to patch the hole behind our dishwasher to prevent the rats from coming in from that way, because they were also chewing at our brand new dishwasher… so this new technician comes in and he’s attempting to take apart our dishwasher then all of a sudden goes outside, makes a call, then comes back in and says he can’t do the job and that we need to have someone remove the dishwasher and he’ll come patch it up. Okay? Fine. Technician leaves and I go to my dishwasher and I see he didn’t even bother putting it back the way it was and the door was not even shutting… I called the guy up and was like “You didn’t even put the dishwasher back, can you do that please” he claims he has other calls and will be back later. Later turns to a few days. When he comes back he tells me that the door is messed up and that the manager has to come out to get photos of the damages so they can pay to get it fixed. Cool.. as long as they fixed it that’s fine. Manager comes out, the claim gets approved and after a battle to get someone to come out and dealing with the manager (who I felt I was bothering cause I kept Calling to get things sorted out from them) I was finally able to get it fixed and reimbursed for the funds. (Mind you the person who came to fix it did a better job at patching the hole up then Terminex did). It was until after this I’ve noticed a lack of effort of Terminex’s part. The biggest issue I have now is with James and the company as a whole. They still come out when they are supposed to but now James doesn’t even bother knocking on the door to let me know he’s here. He just walks into my back yard and leaves. First off? Wth? A big invasion of privacy and trespassing since I don’t even know he’s come by. When I called the store to tell them that I didn’t see a technician there, she contacts James and She told me James said that he got caught up doing stuff so they had to reschedule for the next day. Next day comes and James calls me to tell me that he did show up.. so who is lying to me? Then goes to say that I know when he’s coming around… Okay? IDGAF if I know if you don’t knock on my front door. DONT TRESPASS into my yard. What makes me more upset is that I needed to tell him that there was literally something caught upstairs in between the walls that was actively moving around and that I wanted to know how to go about getting it out. He then tells me that I need to break down the wall and take it out. Obviously he couldn’t do it and I was 5-6 months pregnant and I’m not going to do it. So I asked who does he recommend for jobs like this (THINKING they get this issue a lot) then goes to tell me he doesn’t have anyone to recommend. So you’re telling me a pest control company doesn’t have someone to recommend when there is an animal in the wall, dead or alive ? I was shocked to hear that. So my Bro-in-law came and tried to make a hole in the wood because this animal in the wall had stopped moving and we didn’t want to deal with the smell and possibly diseases it can have, especially being pregnant. Come to find out that the critter escaped our home through a hole in our roof and shed. I contact James to let him know we found another entry point into the house & he comes out to take pictures of it. A few weeks go by and we haven’t heard from him, the manager, or the company that is suppose to come out and patch the holes up. I get a call that Terminex is coming out again for a scheduled walk around and My bro- In- Law was here and he saw that James was going to walk in and leave again without knocking. This is a big red flag again because dude… knock on my door and don’t trespass and two, apparently he lost the photos from the holes that are in my shed and roof and had come to take new ones. so that means now you were going through my property into the buildings without notifying the homeowner. Thankfully my bro-in-law saw him. Since then I haven’t heard from anyone about fixing this issue and I’m fed up. Giving the manager a chance to call if not I’m calling corporate because this is unacceptable.

Horrible customer service, all I wanted was a simple copy of my termite bond, said they would email it to me within 24 to 48 hrs. After 4 phone calls and a week later I received the bond ! Very frustrating, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, WILL NOT RENEW MY SERVICE WITH THEM AND WILL NOT REFER ANY ONE TO THEM.
