I am an octogenarian retired computer scientist who still uses a computer daily. SnagIt has been on my machines and faithfully performed since it's earliest version somewhere around the early 1990's.

I have paid for Audiate for two years. Not able to access. Or get tech support. Please refund and discontinue.

Your products are great, your continuing efforts to further improve them is great, your appreciation of customer loyalty is appreciated (I was on the yearly maintenance agreement and appreciated your grandfathering us in), your resources are easy to negotiate, your regular tips and tricks are great, your education seminars helped me learn the product. Quick and easy.

As a technical writer, I rely on Snagit every day to grab and process screenshot images. Unlike PhotoShop, it's simple enough to use on Day One. Unlike Paint and other free tools, it's both user friendly and powerful enough for just about anything you need from screenshot images: OCR, step capture, visual "how to" templates, self-increasing number stamps, fill tool, callouts, borders and edges including "torn" and "fade," a library of all past captures, and a tray of recent captures & opened files. But my most favorite feature is the "cut out" tool to shrink an image by removing horizontal or vertical dead space INSIDE the image. Oh, and you can capture videos, too! They now open in Camtasia Online for more complex editing, though I haven't used it because I have Camtasia. I once worked a job that wouldn't buy Snagit so I tried all the free stuff. It took three free products to do what I needed, and took two or three times as long. I'd rather buy it myself than go without. I also use Camtasia to create screenshot tutorial videos. Before we bought it, I tried the free products and found them hard to learn. But I took to Camtasia like a fish to water. Like Snagit, it's easy but deep for screenshot tutorials. And with the new AI voiceovers, I'll never have to edit out another throat click or stumbled sentence again. Higher packages also have AI avatars. They have a ton of tutorials and videos (no surprise). They used to have a "community" support section but it wasn't very searchable, and I don't think it's updated any more. Service is fantastic. Whether it's account issues or technical ones, TechSmith support is always knowledgeable and follows through to make sure I'm all set.
