It's hard to explain. These guys started ThinkorSwim and you would think they would have it together. However, they operate like they are working out of their garage. 1. They DO NOT have 24x5 support. So if you're trading futures and need assistance for any reason - there will literally be no one to help you. 2. The app is absolute garbage. When you have to log in and log out every 5-10 minutes so you are looking at accurate information, that is bad news. 3. Customer support is truly awful. Don't try setting up a qualified retirement account with these guys - they don't run their own clearing firm. What does that mean? It means they have the naming rights to the hotel, but they don't actually run the hotel, the hotel is run by, and owned by, a third party, in this case Apex Clearing. They have to run everything by Apex first, which means they are just a bottleneck. Tasty is supposed to be able to allow you to roll options trade easier than other platforms, and they do that great. However, literally everything else seems to be run without governance. Honestly, you can find a better experience, with 24x6 support, with apps that don't crash, with similar fee structure.....just about anywhere.

I was introduced to Tastytrade back in 2017/2018. I was amazed by the amount of free content available. I have learned so much about trading over the years by listening to them. I've been to several of their live shows, which are also free. Everyone that I met from the show was personable and friendly. You can't help but love them. Whenever I call with a question or help with a trade my call is answered immediately and they are always helpful. Watching the show (The Daily Dose in particular) has become a regular part of my daily routine. Not only do I turn to the show for financial advice but also for news, comedy relief, and restaurant recommendations. I tell anyone with an interest in trading options to check out TT. They are truly the best.

Tastytrade has the best platform for options and futures trading and their support at all levels beats all the other retail brokers available!

Tasty Trade's user interface is the iPhone of trading platforms. It is easy to navigate and EXTREMELY informative for trading options. Out of three accounts I have elsewhere, Tasty Trade is my go-to and soon to be my only account.
