Andy was knowledgeable and professional…
Andy was knowledgeable and professional - he listened to what I wanted to learn and did a great job! Both in the web-based desktop version as well as the mobile app version!! I needed to know how to specifically make several types of trades and he walked me thru each and every instance. Couldn’t ask for a better 30 minutes!! Thx Andy!

Disappointing experience
Disappointing experience. They closed all Australian accounts with very little warning, and my initial email was never received, which meant I effectively lost 30 days. There was no apology. All positions liquidated! Trying to work with the banking team to get my money out was also unnecessarily painful and time-consuming. After this experience, I would not use them again.

Poor Communication and bad decisions.
Poor Communication and bad decisions. The people feel really unprofessional. - I had some positions closed over the weekend with NO warning. The timestamps of the notifications were AFTER the position was already closed out. Email saying "you might be in risk, please deposit XXX amount" -> That same day (less than 9 hours later, I deposit the money) --> log in, only to find that "oops it was ALREADY closed out" Obviously no help or recourse because it the transaction was already done. - Less than 24 hours later the stock recovers. turning what was on track to be a good profitable week into a terrible disaster. No heads up, no help. Just a "oops, thats too bad"

I understand the frustration of being liquidated when the account has negative buying power. It sounds like you're describing one of our risk emails. We try to notify our customers of excessive risk in their account and allow them to deposit to meet the excessive risk in their account. I am not able to take a look at your account based on your username to asses the actual position. However, we may need to liquidate positions if the account cannot withstand the risk before a deposit is made.

Very terrible experience
Very terrible experience, I have been trying to withdraw my crypto to my external wallet and I have been getting Outgoing transfers are temporarily unavailable due to maintenance. Please check back later, for a week now and others has been experiencing the same problem

With everyone I spoke with provided excellent help and with a very nice attitude! I dealt with margin status, withdraw cryptocurrency, and got approved for a new wallet address. I, however, proactively made calls alerting the team members of what was happening including an ACH transfer to potential avert any issues with a margin call occurring mid-day and thereby, blocking the crypto withdraw to an offsite wallet! Of all my experiences in dealing with any issue, not just this past Mondsy, I always felt that they made the effort to accomplish the task at hand with a positive attitude! Accordingly, I have dealt with other brokerage firms in my past, and this by far, was the most efficient!

Disappointed Aussie - After IG took over, it when down hill rapidly. Look elsewhere for a more trustworthy broker.

Tastytrade's Broken Bracket Orders Put Traders at Risk
I had a very disappointing experience with Tastytrade. The platform's bracket order functionality is currently broken. I cannot use take-profit and stop-loss orders together, which is a critical feature for anyone managing risk. Previously, the stop-loss percentage input didn't work either, forcing me to enter prices manually. What's even more frustrating is that customer support has no idea when the issue will be fixed. Their only recommendation was that I stay in front of my screen and monitor the price myself. That's simply unacceptable for a professional trading platform. Risk management tools should be reliable. If basic order functionality doesn't work and support can't provide a timeline for a fix, it's hard to trust the platform with real money. I expected much better.

Thank you for the review. We apologize you that you did not have a great experience. It looks like you had two vertical spread positions where there were overlapping strikes which resulted in a combined trade priced for one of the legs which would mean a different average trade price than expected. Our system will take the new average trade price and use that to calculate the profit and loss when using the bracket order. If the percentage function is not working because the new trade price is being thrown off due to the overlapping strikes, you can always manually enter a price for the take profit or stop loss of the bracket orders.
