These guys make the best compute HW.

On September 30, I opened a ticket. paid for 3-day delivery. On October 6th my keyboard arrived. On October 7th I reported the F9 key is broken. Twice since then I have provided my address (the same address as the keyboard and my last two computers were sent to.) It is now October 22. I have not received a replacement F9 nor heard any word back from Customer Happiness or Jordi.

System76's staff were helpful but their website doesn't specify the currency that the prices are in. Basically every other competitor does. There's zero warning that it is USD rather than local currency which can change prices from reasonable to very expensive. (Love that it's getting fixed! Please don't force Aussies to pay US prices if you can avoid it)

First, 10-day make on the clock, UPS delivery perfect!! I installed 2 1TB Laptop SSDs and a AMD Radeon Pro WX 3200 for my 4-monitor setup, it runs like a dream with Pop! OS 24.04 LTS with COSMIC Wayland. The chasis is amazing, I love that it is completely my freacking machine!! I got some of the System76 stickers on, and it looks beautiful, with its 96GB of RAM it is a beast!! My complete, pre-existing work flow, restored in two hours after putting it on my desk and connecting my 6 external HDs. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!

Very happy with the Lemur Pro. Surprisingly lightweight, but sturdy. Default hardware choices are solid. Bonus - ships with Pop_OS and COSMIC!

Fifth computer from System76 and they've always been easy to work with. Only hiccup was really my fault. I decided to change spec (more RAM) next day. Customer support was very helpful, but for some reason they weren't able to just roll it right into the order, which would have been nice. Still waiting for the RAM to arrive separately, which isn't a big deal but is something to deal with. Also wish they had stronger ties with my institution (UCSF Medical School), which would have made things easier on my end bureaucratically. Pretty sure institutions are unlikely to reach out to them (I've suggested they do without success). So I think it's up to System76 to promote themselves proactively to institutional buyers. Pretty sure there are many others where I am, for instance, who might buy their machines but won't because it's not in the standard list of institutional suppliers (Dell and Apple).
