Sutter Health supports doctors who are entited and put their own personal standing above patient care. I was refused care by Dr. Adita Saraswat. To date I have never spoken with Dr Saraswat. Doctors do have to be careful not to cross over care from providers in the same field. The result could be conflicting care and be detrimental to the patient. THIS WAS NOT MY CASE. Having no care giver for pain management Dr Saraswat callously chose who and where I could receive medical care. AS A PATIENT THAT IS MY RIGHT! Not a doctors and not an organization that activily supports this treatment of it's clients. Again, this was blant case of an entitled doctor ASSuming that my health care is her decision. IT IS NOT!! Sutter Health supports this behavior. I will not.

I went to Sutter Hospital on May 7th for a Radiology Exam. The rug in the Waiting room Was dirty. As the technician escorted me to the Radiation room I saw drops of BLOOD on the Floor hallway outside the Restroom over a 10-foot area. This is a HOSPITAL?

Sutter health in castro valley is the worst. Ive been trying to schedule an appointment for 8 months now. They keep getting cancelled. I guess inhave to be be non insured or here illegally tomget service

Horrible bureaucracy. I always have troubles with Sutter. One of my doctors moved there - it is much harder to schedule an appointment. And the price for the care doubled. Today I got a message about a prescription being renewed - that I did not authorize. I didn't even know which department to ask for, so they had to look that up. And of course, transfer. I am currently on hold ...not unusual. Time lost, energy lost.

I moved to Santa Barbara, California two years ago and in that time have seen several doctors at Sansum, which is now Sutter. While the quality of the medical care varied, administrative issues ranging from making appointments to billing were pretty much a nightmare. Luckily UCLA is increasing its presence in Santa Barbara and I have been able to switch to their providers. I couldn't be happier!!

Professionals, thorough, low wait time, asked questions, treated me as a human being.

Why does SUTTER HEALTH have "TOP NATIONAL BEST 50 HOSPITALS' H U M O N G O U S banner on its building - when it is always ranked 1-2 stars on REDDIT and YELP ? We had FANTASTIC staff in the E R but then had the misfortune of being assigned to the "COMMUNE WING" where we were aligned up like a military war hospital with only curtains dividing 15-20 of us. We "get to" (reality = we have to) listen to ALL the other patients diagnosis and private discussions with their clinical staff and doctors. Doesn't matter the body part or medicine - everybody "here's your sign". Say goodbye to any privacy for 3 days! We are moving to a rural area where the ADVENTIST HEALTH has individual or at worst four patients per room. SUTTER nurses on ER were 10s in bedside manner and amazing efficient focus on medically addressing us. We feared posting this because choices are limited for medicine services. But we know it's not that hospitals and the medical profession is dying for funding to provide care when patients walk in with paid up healthcare. We hope the environment can change.
