I write because the sign in proces requires aa a one time code, Supposedly you are able to sign in next time by avoiding this time consuming process, but even though you clik on this option, it DOES NOT WORK. Is it possible, as some companies do to provide the option of recognise this device and skip this requirement on subsequent sign ins? Also Sutter's robot is awful to the point of never being able to understand you, it it is almost impossible to talk to any human, let alone your own doctor. One of the worst robot controlled systems I have ever run into!!!

I have had problems with Sutter Health Billing. Each time I've had to call them on the phone to sort things out. The first was a double billing to Medicare for a meeting I had with a nurse practitioner who was subbing for my GP. They billed me for a "meet and greet" appointment ($300 +) and then for a "Wellness Medicare visit" (300+). Actually they billed Medicare for this and I told them it was only one meeting. We went back and forth and I said it was Medicare fraud and they undid one of the charges. That took a while. Then I had a dermatology appointment and they billed me for the whole visit of $275.00 which I paid. Then I called them to see what the actual bill was and if my insurance had paid it. They claimed they never sent me a bill but I had a credit of $275.00 in my account with them now (because I paid the bill they sent me). Would I like to have the amount refunded to me? Yes. This is SOOOO sloppy I hope they eventually get their act together. My advice is, if you have a question call them immediately. They will make excuses but they have to return your money. Samsun was never a problem like this company IMO.

Why does SUTTER HEALTH have "TOP NATIONAL BEST 50 HOSPITALS' H U M O N G O U S banner on its building - when it is always ranked 1-2 stars on REDDIT and YELP ? We had FANTASTIC staff in the E R but then had the misfortune of being assigned to the "COMMUNE WING" where we were aligned up like a military war hospital with only curtains dividing 15-20 of us. We "get to" (reality = we have to) listen to ALL the other patients diagnosis and private discussions with their clinical staff and doctors. Doesn't matter the body part or medicine - everybody "here's your sign". Say goodbye to any privacy for 3 days! We are moving to a rural area where the ADVENTIST HEALTH has individual or at worst four patients per room. SUTTER nurses on ER were 10s in bedside manner and amazing efficient focus on medically addressing us. We feared posting this because choices are limited for medicine services. But we know it's not that hospitals and the medical profession is dying for funding to provide care when patients walk in with paid up healthcare. We hope the environment can change.
