My Sutter outpatient lab charges were dramatically higher than expected. A comparison between Sutter and Quest Labs revealed that the nearly $1,800 I paid Sutter would have cost approximately $250 at Quest for the same services. This is a total rip off! Beware and go elsewhere.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by the Billing Department. I have spent a significant amount of time and effort trying to resolve what should be a very simple issue involving an incorrect bill, yet the problem remains unresolved. Despite multiple attempts to address this matter, I continue to receive inconsistent information and no meaningful resolution. This experience has been frustrating, exhausting, and completely unacceptable. It is concerning that such a straightforward billing error has been mishandled for so long, which raises serious questions about the effectiveness of the department and the support being provided to patients. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will consider pursuing further legal action against PAMF. Additionally, I intend to share my experience publicly to help others understand the level of service I have received. I expect this issue to be reviewed immediately and corrected without further delays. I am also opening a claim at California Department of Insurance (CDI) besides open a small claim at the courthouse. Also the Department of Managed of Health Care of California is already involved in this case. It’s absolutely unacceptable what Sutter Health does to their patients. I definitely do NOT recommend Sutter Health to absolutely ANYONE. Amanda.

Dr. Jamnani, in Fairfield, CA is the most rude and arrogant Dr I have ever met. He doesn’t listen to his patients, nor cares what they have to say and he’s a surgeon at that! The only reason I gave 2 stars is because his team was amazing. Which, they seemed scared of him, as if they can’t speak up or have an opinion. Do not choose him as your surgeon!

Worst hospital ever as Dr Staples in ortho in Modesto has zero bedside manners and they will not give you good care as its marginal at best!DO NOT EVER GO THERE!

TERRIBLE!!!! I miss Sansum so much. Sutter has RUINED a perfect system with their big business cost cutting. Nothing gets done without 4 phone calls and that's if you are lucky.

I have had problems with Sutter Health Billing. Each time I've had to call them on the phone to sort things out. The first was a double billing to Medicare for a meeting I had with a nurse practitioner who was subbing for my GP. They billed me for a "meet and greet" appointment ($300 +) and then for a "Wellness Medicare visit" (300+). Actually they billed Medicare for this and I told them it was only one meeting. We went back and forth and I said it was Medicare fraud and they undid one of the charges. That took a while. Then I had a dermatology appointment and they billed me for the whole visit of $275.00 which I paid. Then I called them to see what the actual bill was and if my insurance had paid it. They claimed they never sent me a bill but I had a credit of $275.00 in my account with them now (because I paid the bill they sent me). Would I like to have the amount refunded to me? Yes. This is SOOOO sloppy I hope they eventually get their act together. My advice is, if you have a question call them immediately. They will make excuses but they have to return your money. Samsun was never a problem like this company IMO.
