HONEST REVIEW 1 STAR FOR SUSAN JEWELRY

Thank you for providing an opportunity to leave my detailed, specific and honest review regarding SUSAN JEWELRY. Would not recommend ordering jewelry from Susan Jewelry.com Overall customer service was unremarkable. However, my order took a month to arrive. My order included 4 different rings. Only 1 ring arrived in the size I ordered. I ordered the ring in size 10 I received the ring in size 4 1/2. The website describes the jewelry as "created by hand with care and patience and with a lot of heart" and refers to the jewelry as "hand made pieces". Don't be fooled like I was. The photos were extremely different than the actual item received. Nothing was handmade. The gold and copper colors were applied somehow and didn't even cover the entire portion of the item that was intended to be a different color. The rings were made using a mold and details looked stamped. The hinge work on the earrings I got, was crooked and loose. I couldn't close the earring or lock it in place to wear. I paid $34.95 for these earrings. The second pair of earrings I ordered cost was $29.95. The photo made them appear to be silver. The description called them elegant. They were actually a golden color, and certainly not elegant. Really, the overall reason for my 1 star rating is this. After receiving my order, which took a month, I felt as if I had been fooled. Scammed again from on online store. I completely wished I had never opened this sight and ordered from them. I always look at the customer reviews on companies before I decide to order from them. I think if a person takes the time to write a review that the the review is a honest description of the purchasing experience. I base all my decisions to buy from somewhere or someone on the customer ratings. SUSAN JEWELRY needs to say they sell poor quality costume jewelry. They need to state that if they are out of the size you ordered they send you the closest size they have. They also should not say when or how many days it will take for your order to arrive. Sending a size 4½ when you ordered a size 10 is absolutely unacceptable and we take full responsibility for that error. We also hear your concerns regarding the earring quality and the difference between the product photos and the items received this is not the standard we hold ourselves to and we are deeply sorry for falling short. Regarding how our jewelry is described on our website, we want to be transparent with you while our pieces are designed with love and care, some of the materials and components are sourced internationally, including from China, in order to keep our jewelry accessible and affordable. We understand how the description on our website may have felt misleading and we sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused. That was never our intention. We also apologize for the lengthy delivery time. We know how frustrating it is to wait a month for an order, especially when it does not meet expectations upon arrival.
