Our Sunpower panels have not worked for over a year. They continue to schedule then cancel and reschedule appointments. In the 6 years we have had them installed, I believe they have worked for less than two years. Thousands of dollars down the drain and their customer service people, who I'm sure are contract employees, could care less.

We signed the home improvement contract back in July 12, 2022!! We gone through SEVERAL emails asking when we would have the solar panels installed, I even escalated it to a branch manager back in September 2022 telling her we provide ALL requested bills, they had technician come 3 times!! We get an email TODAY stating that Sunpower is CANCELING our Home Improvement Contract, we have 7 to contact IF we are still interested WTH!! We stayed in contact! Today I AGAIN escalated the Rep couldn’t find any reason and found ALL of my emails!! To be canceled 3 months before April 2023 when CA is lowering the rate is BS!! Ct #4000010

Though things were lagging behind around activation, the team the did the activation, Peter and Francisco, were amazing and professional. They definitely love what they do. EricaLynn went out of her way to resolve some issues early on in the process of activation. Looking forward to using my solar

Changing the review to one star because of the services that I've been offered so far. I have called customer support complaining about 3 of solar panels producing less than 25% compared to the similar located solar panels. I waited an hour on the line to be told that the solar system works fine (and that it's hitting the required daily average). This is BS. They are just lazy and don't care about their clients. I would give ZERO stars! Stay away from this company.

My solar has been so fun to watch. Peter, the installer that turned on my solar, was able to give me a great orientation to how the solar unit works. He broke things down in a way I could understand. He also gave me some new solar powered home advice and challenged me to try playing around with my solar storage to see how effective the solar is. Definitely love my system.

Have two Sunpower systems and unable to monitor my original system. Have spent hours with customer support and they have failed to resolve the issue. Sandy in customer support has regretably been most unhelpful. I have been at their mercy with 95% of time on hold and she refuses to transfer me.

I have NEVER experienced such poor customer service. I noticed that my system had stopped working in August 2022 and called to initiate a case with Sunpower support. I had to wait on the phone for 1hr before I got to talk to a support agent! He walked me through the process to reset the system, and it started working. But it was short-lived. After ~1wk, it stopped working again. After another 1hr waiting, I got through to customer support again. Then the fun started. Promises were simply not kept. There was Zero communication for weeks, then I would get a message that they are working on it. I tried escalating. The support rep promised a call within 24hrs. It was 2wks before I got a call, and there was no resolution! We are in Jan 2023, and the system still doesn’t work. They have sent 3 technicians. They even charged me $300 claiming that it I had a bad circuit breaker which they claim to have replaced. STILL NOT WORKING. It has cost me ~$5K on my electric bill so far! Our solar system has been faulty since November of 2021. SunPower started the repair process of June of 2021 and it will be February of 2023 before they'll come out to "repair" it. In the meantime we are paying THOUSANDS of dollars in PGE true up fees and also our monthly solar panel payment. We will not be happy until we are reimbursed some kind of of way financially and our panels are replaced and working 100%. And our advice for anyone reading this - do NOT do business with SunPower. Our installer even dropped them because they were a nightmare to work with.
