Sundance did not post my review because it was negative. That puts their reviews in a whole new light, in that they are curated to only post selected positive ones. I had written a negative review because their return "Smart" label was deceptive. Neither the Post Office nor UPS accepts Smart labels, and they had no idea who does. So, I had to pay $15.85 to return a dress, which should have been the $8.95 they "charge". In California it is illegal to post a certain price and then not honor it. Also, I do not know a single online retail site that charges a higher shipping rate the more you buy. All other sites charge less shipping, or free, if you purchase a certain amount. So, I would warn shoppers that: #1 their return labels are not valid anywhere so the customer has to return the item at their own cost #2 that they do not post negative reviews.

Website is completely weird, not customer friendly, account access is convoluted. Catalog has far less in the way of variety, style and quality in clothing, jewelry, furnishings, quality, presentation and the sizing is very different too. Customer service is not easy to connect with. Clearly the company has been taken over by tasteless space aliens. After 30 years as a customer, adios Sundance. Big loss for the many longtime fans like me.

Received my package in a timely manner. However, the items were of poor quality so I initiated an online return. After completing the required fields, I received a message stating that they would email me once they “approved” the return. (These were not final sale items. They should not require approval). I waited nearly two weeks with no approval email. I pulled out the invoice sent with my items and realized there was a prepaid return label sticker. I used the prepaid label and mailed the package off via USPS. About a week later the package was returned to me POSTAGE DUE. Sundance refused to accept the package and returned it to me. I called customer service and was chided for using the label. I was further schooled by the customer service agent and told that “no one uses the labels on the invoice” and that if I had been a little smarter I “would have realized that because the label didn’t have a barcode on it, it’s was obviously invalid”. Finally a return label was emailed to me. I returned the package and will be surprised if I actually get a refund. All of the above was written in an online review of the items, which Sundance never published. In fact, Sundance has scrubbed ALL reviews from their website. Clearly, this once storied retailer is circling the drain.

They make their products appear nice but you receive JUNK glue seeping out of belt, unreal how bad it was, and I've been dealing with them for 1 month to return it. Countless emails, and they still shorted me on the refund!! For selling JUNK and making returns IMPOSSIBLE

Ordered two shirts totaling $140.97 with taxes and shipping. They delivered one shirt promptly with a note on the order form saying that the expected date for delivery on the other shirt was 4/4/25. When paying my credit card bill I saw they charged for both shirts. The shirt I received was $61.62 with taxes and shipping. I waited two weeks. When the 2nd shirt did not arrive I call and asked if they had sent it out. The lady said no it was still on back order. When I told them to refund the amount of the unsent shirt until they actually sent it out she told me that was not their policy. I cancelled the order and asked them to refund my account. They refunded me $73.65, but pocketed $5.70. I guess it was taxes and shipping on an unsent shirt. Never again!

I ordered on 3/2/25, expecting delivery by 3/9. No updates after initial confirmation of order so I emailed them on 3/10; then again on 3/14 and again on 3/17. No response to any of them so I disputed the charge on my CC on 3/18. That seemed to get their attention, and this was their response, in part: "We work on emails 1st in, 1st replied and it really depends on where we are at in the process how long it takes for us to be able to reply." I bet if they couldn't charge your card until they shipped the product, they'd sing a different tune - likely bankruptcy. I'd give them 5 stars for "How lame are their excuses," but zero stars for actual experience if zero were possible.

I am sorry to say, this catalogue is almost a scam. I ordered 3 items in the beginning of Feb. 2025. One came in a timely fashion, followed by another a few weeks later. The third, a dress never came. When I called yesterday, they explained the dress was on back order until mid-April! I cancelled the order. Why should this company hold my money for 3.5 months without an explanation. This is unacceptable.

I haven’t received my entire order yet but I needed to write that so far I am disappointed and confused. I was charged for my entire order even though 2 items are back ordered until the end of the month. Then I received an email that my entire order was delivered. I called and spoke to a nice agent who gave me lots of excuses and apologies, stating “they are working things out”. I also sent back some joggers for a different size and he said it will take “awhile” to process the return and send out the new one. Don’t think I will be ordering from Sundance again. Sad.
