We've taken a look and see you were able to get in touch with a member of our team and they confirmed your issue was resolved. StyleSeat charges a booking fee of $2.35 to cover the operational costs of providing a smooth booking experience. The booking fee will power things like new feature development and security measures. This is standard practice that other similar platforms use. This fee is listed in the booking flow to ensure your client is aware of what they're being charged. The $35 monthly Premium Plan subscription cost covers the basic tools that help you run your business, such as scheduling, payment processing, deposits, notifications, no-show protection, and flexible checkout. Our New Client Connection and Smart Pricing features are separate from these tools, which is why there are separate fees associated with these appointment types. Hi Tawana! Thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear you've had a negative experience with our Smart Pricing feature. Our Smart Pricing feature identifies your most popular time slots and raises the prices by 20% (up to $50) to match their true value. Smart Pricing appointments also have an automatic 20% tip included, unless your client chooses to add a custom tip from the text message we send them during and after the appointment. Since you're on our Premium Plan, the fee associated with a Smart Pricing appointment is only 5.5% of the service cost, leaving the remainder of the price increase and service total to you! Please be aware, per our Marketplace Rules, for New Client Connections and Smart Priced appointments you must transact with StyleSeat Payments.
