Follow through on delivery…
Follow through on delivery instructions. The time for item to be finished was slightly lengthy however I don't mind if product is of quality. This was a Christmas gift and timeliness became a concern after several weeks, so I chatted with an agent an had specific instructions for delivery based on time frame. The item was shipped and delivered to our vacation home 2 weeks prior and is now outside, snow and rain until we arrive in December.

Good Grief!
Good Grief! I was going to write a very nice review but took a glance at the "Read our Guidelines for Reviewers" and the "How to write a useful review" just out of pure curiosity. Cause I know how to write a review, I wanted to see what 'guidelines' someone might have set. I figured that someone at Story In Steel would be checking the entries for anything fake, inappropriate, etc. I didn't know there was a third-party company (Trustpilot) making rules for reviewers. So, I decided I didn't have the time to write a review. I guess there is someone at Story In Steel that ok'd the use of Trustpilot's services. Did the company really have that big a problem with reviewers they thought they needed Trustpilot's services? If so, that's just sad. Actually, I don't need to write a review cause I had several emails conversing with some very nice associates there at Story In Steel. I passed along my thoughts to them.

The company was very responsive with any questions I had. The ability to proof and make changes was very helpful as I realized the photo I had first submitted didn’t translate well in steel. I love the finished product and it is heavy and good quality. Already recommended to friend and family members.

None of the photos in the website…
None of the photos in the website accurately depict what you receive. The steel is powder coated which I was aware of but their powder coating makes the steel literally look glittery and it’s textured. I can’t see that on a single listing or photo on their site and for that reason I’m very disappointed in the piece I ordered. You need to represent the items accurately when people are spending $200 for something. Customer service didn’t care.

Loved the rendering
Loved the rendering. I thought there was a scratch on the backboard when it arrived. Talked to support and quickly found out it was a protective cover that just needed to be removed. They were prompt and helpful.
