I have been with this storage company since before Storage King USA took over at the Midpine Rd location in Fayetteville, NC. Up until last year when I was asked to renew my contract, I had no issues. After I renewed my contract which I had a set price for at least a year, Storage King USA, less than 6 months later, not only raised my rent above my contract price, but now want to charge me for renters insurance through them, or get my own with my homeowners plan, and it's not included in the new contract I had signed almost a year ago. My current contract isn't even up yet! On top of that, we were never offered a military discount like other military families have been offered. I witnessed that as I was making my monthly payment at the counter, when said discount was being offered to another of their military clients. I am also upset with the fact that I am paying more for temperature controlled storage, and they don't keep the temperature controlled properly or provide pest control, and are charging me for it! Also, why should I pay for more insurance when my belongings are in a building that has extra security measures supposedly and this facility is required to carry insurance as well??? I have to enter a code at the gate, as well as at the door to the temp controlled building of units I am renting in. I also have double locks on my unit. So, tell me, what exactly are the extra dollars for?? Also, regardless of any of this, anyone who rents at places like this are always at risk for losses or theft. Insurance cannot prevent it from happening and doesn't deter anyone from breaking or illegally entering. No letters explaining that either... Since Storage King USA took over here everything goes up and no new changes in service for the better. I can see by some other reviews of similar content, they have no response to any of this. How convenient! Seems to me this company is trying to get more money for doing way less than what I am supposed to be paying for, and without a new, signed contract. That will be why I don't recommend anyone I know or don't know to rent here. I don't like doing business with shady people who are ripping me off! Especially, after the treatment I am getting now after being at this facility for as many years as I have been there! As soon as I can find another facility, I will be severing ties to these people and their company. I'm sure I can get more for less somewhere else, and with much better treatment and satisfaction. I don't recommend them to anyone!!

The staff at our Moncks Corner SC location was very helpful and friendly. She understood our needs and gave us all the information necessary to take care of us.

Trying to save some hard earned cash I called Storage King and immediately knew I had made the right call. Within 10 minutes I had a reserved unit, waiting for me until I could see it in person.

We are happy with our units but we chose Triangle Storage because we could pay for the year and get a break on the bill. One year later Storage King buys them and we no longer have the deal.

I have had my storage unit now for 2 years. It. Has been an okay experience but I was disappointed when the insurance rent went up.

I like this storage company. My inly issue is the price keeps increasing
