Poor customer service. Kept changing the completion date. Did a background check with them 6 months ago, took 24 hours. Nothing changed, this one took three weeks. Blamed it on a municipality. Total balderdash. Still waiting for my results 6 month later, employer moved on. Filed suit against them. They don’t care either.

Waiting 5 weeks for my background check. I applied for Uber Eats to earn a bit extra and for the first 2 weeks they kept on asking me to upload the same information. Then after 4 weeks I email them everyday and just get the same automated response. Signing up for Uber eats and Sterling has been nothing but hassle and I have put days of work into it, its cost me money on extra insurance and I am still waiting for my credit check. AVOID any job that asks you to complete a Sterling credit check.

The wording on emails requesting additional documents was not clear to me. I ended up spending hours providing unnecessary documents due to the wording. Glad I called customer service. That team was very helpful.
