My dog is dead. Otherwise i would give a near perfect review. I love the massive boundary capabilities. My major problem is too short battery life. Because the battery life is as short as it is I was forced to put my dog back on a runner while i was away from home for 2 days. Roman has been on that runner for a year but I guess got too used to the freedom the collar gave him. When I returned home I found him strangled to death. The loss was devastating to me as he was with me everywhere that I could possibly let him go. He was my friend, almost like one of my grandchildren. The battery life is why i delayed purchasing as long as I did, now I blame the battery life for the loss of my friend. I wanted to love the collar. It did work great. It gave Roman a tremendous amount of freedom they made him so happy.

I truly appreciate spot on and am glad I purchased the collar for my dog. My dog is stable staying close to home and has stopped pushing the boundaries of where she can go and running after wildlife. She doesn't like the noise, so I haven't had to add the additional simulation. I'm very happy about that. Set up was easy as advertised. However, it has not been an easy process. As an older adult hearing the tones in training was difficult. Explanation and using the app to use headphones was poor. My dog got weird out with my use of the headphones and knowing what was going to come with tones. Also, the app had to be in a certain position to use. Configuring the app. by the manufacture could really help. The advertising of 30 min. support by trainer was sad. I didn't use because you had to electronically sign your life away. I'm glad with time I was able to figure out how to use the Spot-on Collar and my dog figure it out too.

The collar works great and it is easy to define the fences. My only complaint is that they don’t have a desktop/windows supported app.

This has been a literal lifesaver for our family. The company has been very good to work with as well. The support is great and the pricing is fair.

We enjoy the fact that our dogs are free to roam freely in our yard.

Best money ever spent! This collar was easy to setup and has worked without any glitches whatsoever. My dog had started to follow me ever time I went to drive away, and she can also open house doors; someone would have to deadbolt etc. every time we left driveway. I charge it every evening and she has learned to bring it to me each morning to snap it around her neck before going outside! Honestly has made life so much easier and safer for both of us. The collar works great, my Pyrenees was trained fully within a week of scheduling our introductory meeting with a trainer. I can't emphasize the value of that 30 minutes - we struggled for a couple weeks before making that call, and then within days she was safe and sound. Since trying it on the Pyrenees, we bought another for our Red Heeler, and it's been extremely effective for him, too. The one ting that I'd request, and it's minimal, is that the audio alert tones have an adjustable volume. In one section of our property we have a busy road, and the tones could be a little louder to alert the dog as she gets to the edge of the fence. Over time she's learned where the boundaries are and the system is working perfectly, but louder alerts might have been helpful in initial training at least. We love the collar, service has been Five-star as well. Great product, great company. We've recommended to two other farmers in the area who are planning to become SpotOn customers as well.
