We were experiencing an issue with chargebacks and SpotOn was quick to try and fix that problem. However, the solution resulted in a full day of automatically declined orders across several locations. It took some time but they got it all figured out and resolved. Not only did they work diligently to resolve the declined orders issue, but SpotOn also gave us a credit for each location due to loss of sales and unhappy customers.

Customer Service from Ivan Monroy. I swapped with Spot-on for multiple reasons (payroll, menu, kitchen display, and tailored restaurant software). However, as with every new software, there is a learning curve but thanks to customer service and attention from the company, I am able to run multiple restaurants on the same platform. I have been a customer of SpotOn for a few years. Like most P.O.S. systems, problems will occur however it is definitely the employees of the company that will either "make" or "break" your experience. Jon Smith and Rich Barnes are two of those employees who made a positive difference. They worked diligently on finding a solution to my nagging printer issue. Jon maintained communication throughout this process. He called when he said he would call without me having to chase him down. That says a lot about his character. I have been in business for 37 years and have worked with many employees of other companies, it was refreshing! Cheers to Jon and Rick!

In what should have been an amazing opportunity, my experience with Spot On has been frustrating. This system has the potential of being great, it's platform is rock solid and we've almost never gone down, when it did it turned out our porter unplugged the router. There is a 4G backup just in case the ISP quits and we weren't nickel and dimed to death. Refreshing. The problem was with support and set up.No template to speak of, very little guidence and installation/training (which you pay for) left us not really knowing what we were doing. Nothing was intuitive but once you figured it out it was great. My bright spot was in restaurant success and a technician named Jon Smith, who finally addressed all of the issues we had during our 1st year and couldn't get the regular support staff or integrations team to fix. I would have definitely left the platform if not for Jon. If I could give any advice to Spot On it would be to invest in support, the right kind that gets things done without making me call a dozen times. To be honest, had I experienced from the start what I experienced this last 4 weeks, this would have been a 5 star review, it's just hard to wash away a year of frustration in 4 weeks. I truly hope that what service I rrecently eceived is a sign of things to come. Jon was great, the installer that helped configure things properly was great, all the broken/not working/frustrating things for the last year have been fixed. This is what I was hoping for a year ago. Definately don't rule this system out but ask questions before you sign the contract and hold them accountable to get you set up properly and you'll have a great system... much better than a lot of the popular ones. One popular one in particular whom I won't mention by name, I hear is always having printer issues and outages.. Spot On never did so I was thankful for that
