Sportsman's GuideReviews of sportsmansguide.com

Sportsman's guide is not a reputable company they lie and cheat their customers. I have been a loyal customer for years and have overlooked alot but not any more. Its just a matter of time until they screw you over.

I ordered ammunition which was on back order. It’s was slated to arrive three months post order. Upon checking the order after two and a half months I notice they pushed the shipping date another three months out. That means SIX MONTHS to receive my order and that’s IF they don’t extend again. When I called to complain, all they would tell me is it’s not their fault and blamed their supplier. They were unwilling to discount the order or find a way to get me a different brand of the same caliber. I was provided a $20 gift card only after I requested a discount. Any business that believes a six month back order is acceptable is kidding themselves. I passed up on other opportunities to buy similar ammo and now I’m up the creek without a paddle just hoping it gets here within six months.

I ordered boots from SG. They apparently arrived at my home. However, when I went to collect them, they were not there. I assume porch pirates. I emailed to let them know. They responded within one day to let m know they are shipping out another pair of the boots for me. No issue at all. I am very impressed. This is what honest companies do. Matt

I only bought stuff from SG one time. I don't remember signing up for a membership service, but there were tons of pop ups I had to click through to get to check out. There were so many, I probably accidentally signed up for it by leaving some box ticked. Now months later I get 50 bucks charged out of my bank and I'm overdrawn. What a bunch of scammers, and pretty bold of them to be pulling this kind of crap when millions of Americans are without a job and not even allowed to go outside. Last thing we need right now is a $50 membership for Sportmans Guide that we didn't ask for. What the hell are we paying 50 bucks for anyway???

Wow....ordered 1000 rounds of 9 mil. Back in April. They kept pushing out delivery date even though the had ammo in stocks at 10 times the price i locked it in at. Gee thanks. Cancelled order. Wish I could get my membership money back.

Seems like low quality and poorly fitting merchandise and when you return so.etging they charge you so dont expect them to honor their easy return process! As soon as I get my returns I'm cancelling my account!

Absolutely horrible, this company used to value it's customers unfortunately it's allowed the low prices to translate to low quality employees and service all around. Had an account since 2006, own a guide service here in NY multiple orders throughout the years. I noticed a change in 2019 and since then it's been down hill. You can find better deals on Ebay, Amazon and pretty much anywhere else. Save your time and the stress this place is a sinking ship. Cancelled my 14 year account today 12/17. See ya!

I'm afraid I have to echo the negative reviews for this company. They advertise merchandise at great prices and lute you into signing up for their Buyers Club with the promise of free shipping. Then, once you give them your personal info and complete the transaction they let you know that your product is backordered. I ordered a case of .223 on September 16th. They changed the shipping date 4 times with the current projected date of January 6. Today they were bold enough to charge me $49.99 to renew their worthless membership. Don't fall for their bullsh1t. There are a lot of legitimate businesses that are struggling right now. Support the ones that have ethics.
