In our experience, the communication and service from Sporting Smiles left a lot to be desired. While we initially chose them for a more affordable alternative to our dentist’s pricing, the process quickly became frustrating. We faced confusion over mold approvals and delays that didn’t match what we’d been promised and paid for plus it was difficult to get consistent responses from their customer support. Additionally, we noticed a delay where they claimed they’d just received our molds two weeks after the tracking had already confirmed delivery. This reset the timeline unexpectedly, which was frustrating. In the end, we’d strongly suggest considering other providers who might offer more reliable service and clearer communication.

UPDATED REVIEW to 7/31/26: ... I ordered the 150.00 perio protect trays. I have tried 3 times to produce an acceptable set of impressions (upper & lower). Each submission comes back unusable even after getting pre-shipping photos approved... 9/4/2026 Update: After posting a 7/31 negative review a rep. emailed on 8/3 stating the 3rd submission was reviewed & the trays will be produced as a rush order. I received them 8/19. The trays are comfortable and properly hold the Perio Protect Gel. I appreciate customer service stepping up & providing the items I desired. I would use Sporting Smiles again.

I sent them at least 5 different photo's of what looked like ideal imprints for my retainers and they were all denied. They took at least 4 business days to get back to me, and were not communicative or friendly. I used them once in the past and had no issues so I'm not sure if it's new management or what, but they were awful with customer service and the whole process was really frustrating. Also, it said it would take I think 30 business days to receive them, and ended up taking over two months with no communication.

I've given this company five stars for quite a few years but the last retainer I received from them has changed my opinion dramatically. The back molars were not covered and as a result, they've moved and they are hitting my bottom teeth first which is very uncomfortable and strange feeling. They did send a refund which I used to purchase a retainer from my dentist which fits perfectly. Don't let them tell you that including the back molars doesn't make a difference because it does.

Paid 140 dollars for retainers, did the impressions, sent them, then waited for about 17 business days before calling them for an update. I also emailed them and in the email, they said the lab processing takes 30-40 business days, and when I called them, they said the same thing, but I could pay an extra 40 dollars to get them shipped quickly. I paid and they shipped it the same day. This means they were waiting for me to pay for the quicker delivery and just holding on to them and calling it “lab processing.” Very convenient way of getting people to pay more money. Good product, but beware they are greedy. So stupid

Best decision I've ever made. I paid for the RUSH option and was so worth it! Way better than my old ones, light, you can barely see them and I sleep rested I can order more in the future seemsly!!! Loved loved loved!!!

I ordered a pair of emergency retainers after losing mine. The process was very smooth and I was able to get them very quickly. Creating the impressions was easy and I am very happy with the retainers that were delivered.

This was for an emergency retainer kit and honestly the experience couldn’t have been any easier and the best part was the actual lead time, from the moment the impression kit was received to the time we actually received the final retainers. The process couldn’t have been any easier and the service was incredible!
