Making an acceptable impression for Sporting Smiles was difficult, the wait time was almost 3 months from impression to receiveing the product. But the worst part was the end. They emailed that my retainer was ready to be shipped. But then they saw that I had posted an unfavorable review because of the long wait time. I received an email that told me my retainer would not be sent unless I retracted my review. They offered " free digital impression" if I would comply. I complained to the supervisor who then proceeded to keep my retainer a week more before they finally mailed it. Retainer okay, was very, very tight, but after 1 month more usable. Do NOT use this unethical company.

Terrible turnaround time of 3 months, a poor product that doesn’t fit, and now I must pay to return it to them PLUS get charged an extra $20 for shipping & handling. If you dare ask any questions while your order is in the 12-week queue, they will remove your order & put you back at the end of the long line. I recommend also reading their BBB complaints before ordering from this company.

Garbage product, even worse customer service. Takes insanely long to hear back, get the product, and troubleshoot what ended up being a terrible quality retainers. An offer to make good with a second pair never came to fruition because they simply don't respond and are incompetent. Advice: You are selling a medical product. Your cavalier attitude toward your customers is dangerous, unethical, and simply rude. Do better.

Go ELSEWHERE! We paid over a month ago and still waiting! Teeth are going to move by then and goodbye $7k for braces. Customer service is terrible and good luck having someone answer the phone. Still waiting on our retainer!

Ordered a replacement on July 17th and still haven’t received my shipment!!!! Update: it arrived two months later. Absolutely ridiculous. And forget about trying to call somebody. They don’t even have anybody to pick up the phone it seems.

Doing the impressions has been an extremely frustrating experience. I keep on getting my molds rejected through email but the worst part is the reply rate can be from 3 to 5 days . Every time I send a picture it’s been taking so long it’s been weeks now and I needed new retainers by now I’m thinking of going elsewhere they really need to hire more people to look at the impressions it’s way to slow. Another thing their tray doesn’t seem to fit comfortably in my mouth the only way I can actually close my bite is if I push the tray back but my teeth are touching the front of the tray which they don’t like so I’ve tried to do the putty like 5 times and I can’t seem to get it right . I feel like giving up with them and wish I could get a refund .

In our experience, the communication and service from Sporting Smiles left a lot to be desired. While we initially chose them for a more affordable alternative to our dentist’s pricing, the process quickly became frustrating. We faced confusion over mold approvals and delays that didn’t match what we’d been promised and paid for plus it was difficult to get consistent responses from their customer support. Additionally, we noticed a delay where they claimed they’d just received our molds two weeks after the tracking had already confirmed delivery. This reset the timeline unexpectedly, which was frustrating. In the end, we’d strongly suggest considering other providers who might offer more reliable service and clearer communication.

I sent them at least 5 different photo's of what looked like ideal imprints for my retainers and they were all denied. They took at least 4 business days to get back to me, and were not communicative or friendly. I used them once in the past and had no issues so I'm not sure if it's new management or what, but they were awful with customer service and the whole process was really frustrating. Also, it said it would take I think 30 business days to receive them, and ended up taking over two months with no communication.
