The ease of signing up is great. The scope of what they manage is fantastic. The resources of information they offer is unparalleled. But trying to get answers to questions in a quick and timely manner is difficult, especially when those answers help determine other important things. Customer support is my only complaint, where it takes up to 2 weeks to get answers. Having direct customer support via phone/chat is my only suggestion.

My experience with Songtrust has been disappointing from start to finish. Despite registering and submitting all my information, I have yet to receive my royalties for July and September. I reached out to their support team, and after multiple emails and a vague response, they assured me the issue had been resolved. However, we’re still at the same point: no payments and no clear updates. This process is incredibly frustrating, especially when one expects a royalty management company to be transparent and fulfill its commitment to timely payments. Additionally, when I finally received a response, they simply provided a reference number without any clear follow-up on my case. I do not recommend Songtrust if you’re looking for a transparent user experience and reliable support. It’s a waste of time and money, and all you end up with is constant frustration.

In my latest poor experience with Songtrust I have a sync on a Netflix show. I've put in 3 support forms this year about it. The first 2 no-one even bothered to respond. Someone finally responded today to the one I put in over a month ago to question whether they have to collect the royalties and if too much time has passed to collect them etc. All this information was available in my support ticket and account. I paid to join this company for the job of collecting royalties and they have been apathetic at best, but more often completely unresponsive.
