Everyone I've had contact with has been professional, polite and very personable.

Extremely expensive even with insurance. I’ve been on hold to talk to someone for 40 min because I was billed incorrectly.

The core problem with sondermind is that the person who started and/or is running the company doesn't understand people with mental health issues and what their needs are. I have so much written communication in which I stated directly what I needed and received responses that dismissed the requests. Seems like "customer service" has very strict and ineffective scripts and procedures to follow. Not helpful and very frustrating when all I'm trying to do is get support for mental health. The company seems to cater way more to the therapists and getting them paid. Good luck with accurate payment and getting it resolved every time it's not which is a lot. Hey Mark Frank, do everyone a favor: resign or actually be willing to open your mind to the fact that you don't know what you're doing with this company and learn. Edited: Note their response to my review and many others. It proves my point. A vague offer to correct things (I've already tried that with you sondermind) and yet I don't see anyone getting back on here to say their issues were corrected. Sondermind does not care about transparency. In addition, I received an email saying if I didn't give details my review might be taken down. I don't see how that's fair for Sondermind to control the narrative. They are asking for my order number or email address. Both sondermind and trust pilot already have my email address and I don't have an order number because I'm speaking about multiple interactions during the course of receiving therapy for over a year with sondermind.

Great therapist

Very helpful active listening, compassion, insight and setting of goals. I can see and feel my progress and so can my loved ones.

I spent a long time trying to give a therapist a chance. We went over the same questions every session, and that is all we did. It was worse than unproductive. It did more harm than good. This was after I had been ghosted by a previous therapist. The next person I tried to match marked me as a no show for therapy due to miscommunication. It was my third strike (throughout the entire experience, with no set schedule and multiple therapists canceling/rescheduling with me.) I was twenty minutes late and she did not show up even though we were scheduled for an hour. Because of her, I have now lost access to therapy entirely.

It was easy to set up, uses my insurance and simple to find a therapist.

Sondermind allows the use of my insurance while still providing online therapy. I have been thrilled with my therapist and impressed with the stability of the platform. The cost management through insurance is a huge relief!
