I sadly did not do more research on this company and relied on the appealing pictures and location of the area. BAD MISTAKE on my part! There is no customer service, they denied my early check in and was not helpful in accommodating. I stayed in their Philadelphia location and it was so small and the washer and dryer did not work. There was also so much dust in the residents. Also, while trying to reach out to their customer service for my NY location, I could not reach anyone from their support team. I had been ob hold for over 45 min. I would NOT recommend doing business with this company. I even reached out and sent messages to their staff on LinkedIn.

To be honest our stay in San Antonio was really nice until the check out process. Also, the washer and dryer did smell very bad but other than that the apartment was lovely and we had a blast! Now the check out was horrible. We were sent check out instructions to leave our key fobs in the lock box, however, they did not include the lock box code. The code was on our check in instructions but due to security reasons we could not see that information anymore. We were on hold almost an hour before someone could help us. Why would you leave such a vital piece of information out of the check out instructions? They say they’re available 24/7 but that is not true when you have to wait on hold so long. All the plans for our last day couldn’t happen because we spent an hour and a half just trying to leave the keys. Before the check out easily would have given 5 stars.

Worse customer service than cable companies. I'd rather deal with Comcast. A new person (some min wage 20 year old) is assigned for every new interaction. EVERY NEW INTERACTION. Not every new issue, every INTERACTION. So they have to re-read the whole context again and end up saying something along the lines of "thanks for reaching out we'll look into it and get back to you ASAP :D!" then nothing happens. A bunch of headless chickens running around and pretending like they have a job.

Just go to a hotel! I have stayed there twice and both times i had a bad experience. 1st time: I spent two hours outside the building to get my keycode as the original keycode was wrong by them. 2nd time: they canceled my reservation 10 hours before check-in for a plumbing issue and directed me to a cheaper alternative. I'm currently struggling to get the difference in pay. Customer service is shocking...it's in America and it takes a verrrrry long time to get connected. Overall: terrible experience

Horrible experience with Sonder and VRBO. I made a reservation on VRBO with Sonder Management group for a San Diego apartment. VRBO charged me with their service fee and confirmed that the reservation was active. Sonder sends me an email telling me that the reservation has not been made because payment has not been received. They send me a separate link for payment which made me suspicious. I decided to cancel and when I tried with Sonder, they told me to cancel with VRBO and VRBO told me Sonder needs to cancel the reservation, needless to say - neither company knows what is going on. Glad I saved myself the headache since reading the reviews this property management company is a No Bueno customer-friendly company.

Staying in the Phoenix McKinley property for a month. The property is PHENOMENAL. I cannot overstate that. The rooftop pool and gym are on-par with the ultra-lux amenities in NYC buildings. The room is awesome, easily a $300+/nigh hotel experience. Sonder staff was extremely helpful during the booking process and everything has been super smooth going. The only negatives are 1) To access most everything you need the building key-fob (normal) but you only get 1, which means coordinating A LOT if you're staying with a partner especially since you need the fob to use the elevator. Two fobs would be awesome. 2) No mail delivery to the building, you can however get items sent to the local Sonder office and pick them up and this is stated up front so this was a surprise just inconvenience.

Stay away ! You try to shorten your reservation due to COVID and they do not care. Once you make the reservation you are DONE they don’t give a S* to you. Loosing almost $1k. Never using them again

I made a reservation through Airbnb with SONDER. Which was confirmed & prior to check in cancelled on me via text message. I called the # they left to see what the problem was & they said the manager was sending an email (never received any email) & my $$ was refunded. They lied on both!! I have no clue why they cancelled. Never had an email & my $$ wasn't returned quite to the contrary honestly. These people are awful to treat guests this way. I will get my $$ back. Sonder is a horrible company.
