I’m rating this place a 1 star because there is nothing less… this palace is horrible. So after working so hard to get up on our feet and being affected with Covid-19 we decided to take a weekend enjoy a vacation/my daughter birthday. We decided to rent with Sonders. My experience is not what o expected. The rooms are nice but when you look up the hotel site no where does it advises you there is a train/ brighline running every 20-30 min. The noise was horrible, could not even have a conversation. As we walked around to explore the building there was no many negatives during my complete stay * pool closed for 2 day(reminder you are not allowed to bring glass but some how someone manage to do so with a security on the floor constantly * Elevator wait was ridiculous(over 30 min wait because they are moving someone in and WAIT THEY ARE REQUIRED TO RESERVE ONE OF THR ELEVATOR-no one stopped the renters to move in. What an inconvenience! * My last day they finally opened the pool- weather in Miami is unpredictable-raining, so we decided to jet into the jacuzzi OMG , really as I dipped myself it felt like an ice box. OH EVEN BETTER MY DAUGHTER FRACTURED HER TOE OCER THERE NEGLIGENCE IN THE PARKING LOT. I sent that message and nothing was done. I asked for late check out due to all my negative and they were not even able To offer my family that. What a vacation. Then I would send my concerns and the team is very professional but no complete answer. All they would say is let me advise my team to see what we can do. At this point I am home and have not heard from them

I was traveling from Florida to New Orleans in June for a wedding. I came across wonder home on Priceline I liked there rooms and the price was amazing for the amount of time I would be there. I had some trouble with the payment part and it finally went through so I proceeded with the reservation I wake up the next morning and my reservation was cancelled I don't know why but it was just cancelled there not giving me the information on why that it was just cancelled. I honestly would not recommend this hotel at all poor service.

If I could give zero stars I would. The Sonder in downtown NYC (Platt Street) - no heat (a city violation reported to 311); a building being built next store (literally your room will shake). No customer service - after 90 minutes on the phone, they offered no refund, no recourse (except a room in Long Island City when another room was avail two blocks way which I booked directly). This was singularly the worst hotel experience I've had and for a comapny with supposed technology to mislead guests on basic needs (like heat) was very disturbing. Do Not Stay Here!

We loved Sonder! We stayed at Sonder Court Square, Long Island, New York City. Both the room and the staff were excellent to us. The room had all the amenities we needed. The only bad thing we can say about it is that if the windows are open the metro is pretty noisy. Other than that, great!!

This company is a joke. Don’t rent from them. I requested on more than one occasion for a supervisor to call me but none did. $200 refund is a bit insulting to the drama of the poor Sonder experience and the agent Marcella that made it significantly worse because she insisted at 11:15p at night that I move all my belongs and all the groceries that we bought from the first unit D to unit C. When I refused she called me I believe 7 times in 10 minutes to demand that we move our stuff. What is the reason for that? Was the cleaning person going to come at midnight to clean? We’re you going to be able to re rent our unit at midnight with the three AC units that didn’t work? She should be fired. The unit D was so sparsely furnished we had to keep our clothes on the floor. The cushions on the back of the couch were missing and made it extremely uncomfortable to sit on (which we know because the new unit had the same couch with matching cushions). No cushions on the rattan furniture and no end tables for the couch. No full length mirror. There were loose and missing spindles on the staircase. No windows that can be looked out of like a dungeon. And the lone window in the bedroom with no curtains so we were up with the sun. But you do have curtains on the sliding glass door which are two feet too long so we tripped over them repeatedly. Did you know that there is no handle on the pocket door to the bathroom on either side of the door? The trash can in the bathroom was so tiny to be unusable for more than a day. We were expecting use of a pool since there are photos on your ad but the pool was “closed”. There was exactly one chair outside so only one of us could sit at a time. And a lovely view of construction debris left to rot in the yard. had dirty bowls in the cupboard and only one table knife. One of the closet doors for the washer/dryer fell off. exterior door often stayed unlocked and could have easily been broken into because the wood around the latch was mostly missing. Then the cherry on top was the email that informed us of “quarterly HVAC maintenance “ that they were going to come into the unit on the morning of our checkout. Really? Don’t you think that you wasted enough of my expensive vacation? I have to pay someone to stay with my mother when I got out of town on top of the normal vacation expenses. It is unbelievable to me that you would expect a guest to allow access to the unit for scheduled maintenance. I have an Airbnb and I would NEVER ask that of a guest. They paid for that time. Schedule a vacant day if you need to do maintenance.

Low response rate, my reservation is in less than 24 hours, no confirmation of check-in information and no responses. Books weeks ago and sent everything they needed.

THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. IT COST MORE THAN A HUNDRED DOLLARS IN PHONE CALLS AND I STILL HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO CHECK IN. EVERY SINGLE CODE THEY HAVE SENT TO MY PHONE HASN'T WORKED.

Appalling service. Valuable items stolen from the room. Customer service are basically bots giving out scripted responses. Eventually I get a mail to say contact legal@sonder - end of so I went to the police. Even when the U.K. police got involved they avoided them too refused to return phone calls and emails on the case. Forget their rooms this company has no ethics, no customer service and clearly employs staff who are thieves who they’d happily cover up for.
