I transitioned my 2 young cats to Smalls two months ago. They had previously been on a good-quality natural dry food, but I had begun to notice that they were not as playful, and their fur seemed almost greasy and dull. I was increasingly concerned about their hydration. So I tried canned food. No go! They didn't eat any of the ones I tried. They took to Smalls so easily! They love the smooth chicken and smooth fish/chicken. Now they are visibly healthier with silky, shiny coats and better, balanced energy! Yay! Although Smalls' cat food is expensive, the quality is high, and you can order in quantity to save on shipping. And I am anticipating that their vet bills will be lowered over time on this healthy diet.

I was very intrigued by the product because it appears to be one of the healthiest out there for cats. All three of my 13-year-old siblings loved it. Initially first couple of days mixed in with their other food, but then they went to enjoying just the Smalls. I’ve tried other “healthier” products before, there were some side effects: “yeasty ears” (vet’s term), allergic itching. So far, no side effects with Smalls. 🤞🏼

We appreciate you trusting Smalls for your cats’ nutrition and for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review!

I have subscribed to Smalls cat food on and off for the last five years. I recently received an order of food that contained fish which was likely bad because my cat wouldn’t touch it. After a lot of back and forth with customer service I received a refund, but my next order that wasn’t even shipped yet couldn’t be cancelled, AND that order would NOT be eligible for return or refund. AGAIN, wasted food and horrendous customer care. I cancelled my subscription.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re very sorry to hear about the issues with your recent orders and the frustration they caused. It’s upsetting when a shipment doesn’t meet expectations, and we understand how disappointing it is to feel limited in options for a pending order. Our policies on cancellations and refunds are tied to order processing deadlines, which can make it difficult to reverse an order once it has reached a certain stage. We recognize that this isn’t ideal and appreciate your feedback, as it helps us identify areas where we can improve communication and service. We’re glad that the issue with the first order was resolved with a refund, but we’re sorry that the overall experience led to you canceling your subscription. We appreciate your time as a long-term customer and regret that we didn’t meet your expectations. If there is anything we can do to support you further, feel free to email us at [email protected] or send a text to 503‑487‑4303.

I believe their intentions to create a variety of healthy cat food is wonderful . The feline I own is almost 18. Bless her . She grew up on canned food in gravy … guess that worked good. She does not like this food … I believe she would have enjoyed it if I had introduced it to her before she was so set on her ways..

Thank you for sharing your experience! We completely understand—cats can be creatures of habit, and it can be tricky to introduce new foods, especially later in life. We appreciate your kind words about our mission to provide healthy, varied meals. If you ever decide to try introducing Smalls again, even as a topper or mix-in, we’re happy to share tips to help make the transition smoother for your feline friend. Wishing you and your senior kitty many happy, healthy mealtimes.
