Yes, it's on the pricier side, especially if you have multiple cats, but the quality is top-notch and I'm already noticing changes in my cats' health after one month. If you can swing it, I highly recommend Smalls. Also, their customer service reps are awesome.

This diet dries out my cats skin as not enough fat in it after using for roughly a year. Customer service does reply quickly but no refunds or returns if you cat doesn’t like it. Which is pet of why in the welcome packet they essentially tell you to starve your cat so it’ll eat their food.

My overweight cat Sanders has lost 2 pounds (19 to 17 pounds) in two weeks on Smalls! At first she wouldn’t eat it, but once she started, she loves it, both dry kibble and the wet ground meat. She’s friskier than ever and not throwing up, plus her poop isn’t so stinky!! I’m chronicling her weight loss in case Smalls is interested because I’ve been trying to get slimmed down with healthy food and activity for 5 years since she was a kitten, and I’ve had cats my whole life and never a fat one, so it upset me to see her so unhealthy. The website and communication need an overhaul. My cats love this food and their coats are nice and shiny. Great product. However, I struggle to know that I'm actually getting what I ordered because the confirmation emails have not once matched what I actually ordered/received and the confirmation emails for the same order will not match each other. Somehow, so far, what I was shown on the website at the time of the order and what was in my box have been the same. Confirmations are useless as it currently stands.

I wish my cat had liked this food. I was looking for something higher quality than grocery store canned cat food, but she’s hooked on her cuts in gravy. 5 stars for Smalls packaging. I really liked the dry ice/minimal waste approach.

I was very excited to try Smalls, but unfortunately, my cat Tiago did not like their wet food as much as he liked their freeze-dried food. I did have a bad experience prior to Thanksgiving which left me without food for Tiago leading me to order his wet food from Chewy which he ended up liking more than Smalls. I will continue to order their freeze-dried dry food because Tiago likes it & because of the convenience/health benefits of their freeze-dried food, but I will no longer be using Smalls for my cat's full dietary needs.
