My cats love this food

There are some companies that go over and beyond with customer service and this is one of them. I don’t know yet about the food because I haven’t fed any to my cats yet. I also know that at first my cats will think they don’t like it. Time and careful introduction will tell. But I had a problem with the dry ice included in the shipment which is completely out of their control. Anyone who’s received a shipment from them MUST admit they are extremely careful and thoughtful as it’s one of the most well packed shipment I’ve ever seen. And I know because I get many and I also have an online shop. Moving on, I contacted them about the issue and was contacted by who I think might be the owner who was so kind, so thoughtful, and so willing to make it right that I can’t believe anyone would have anything negative to say about them. After that, I’m really hoping my 2 beloved cats love their food because I believe I can truly trust this company. What they do is why I contacted and ordered from them in the first place and now I know I can believe what they say and trust them with my cats nutrition. Thank you Smalls!!

My cat Rizz loved the food and crunchy treats! The orders were still frozen when they arrived so they were packed and packaged perfectly. Rizz ended up passing away in June and when I let the Smalls team know they were very kind and helped me. Then I received the sweetest and most beautiful sympathy gift in the mail this week from them. Talk about above and beyond! 💜

I gave Smalls a try in late July 2026. It took 2 weeks to receive the Sample Pack. The initial Sample Pack was never shipped. I messaged Smalls numerous times before finally receiving the Sample Pack. I didn't appreciate being automatically put into a subscription plan without my consent, so I cancelled the unauthorized subscription plan. Please be aware when trying the Sample Pack, you will be automatically put into their subscription plan. This is not noted when ordering the Sample Pack. It's a very sneaky move on the part of Smalls. I can't rely on Smalls to supply regularly scheduled deliveries because of what happened with the Sample Pack. Customer service was friendly to me and helpful. They even gave me a partial refund for the inconvenience. The partial refund was their idea.

The website is user friendly. My furbaby Gizmo loves the fresh food! She has even lost some weight since I started feeding Smalls to her.

I ordered the sample kit and my cats did not take to it after multiple tries. I simply threw out the remaining pouches. A few weeks later I get a notice that I’ve been charged $148 for the next shipment that wouldn’t even ship for another week. Irate, I cancelled my “subscription” and asked for a refund which I was quickly denied. I recommended to them to consider giving email notifications 2-3 days before a customer’s card would be charged to at least give the customer a chance to cancel or postpone the shipment if not needed. Every other recurring monthly or annual service I subscribe to extends me that courtesy. YOU’RE KILLING ME SMALLS!!!

My ultra-picky eater with cystitis (she could really use the added moisture in her diet) hasn't touched a bite of any wet food I've offered her since November. I have tried everything available locally and finally decided to try the Smalls sampler. She DEVOURED the first plate I offered and came back looking for more immediately. What's more is she keeps coming back and licks the plate clean twice a day! I can even add her medicine to it without a fuss which is a huge win for both of us. My other kitty loves it too (but she eats everything, so no surprise there). Needless to say you have a fan for life. Shipping was as expected and the packaging was neatly executed. 5/5.
