the cats love the food. only issue is that some of the packets are difficult to open and others very easy

My trial box was accidentally delivered to the wrong address, my fault, and the customer service representative, Amy, sent me a new one. Free of charge. Customer service doesn't get better than that!

Smalls is great. Because when FedEx constantly makes the same mistakes over and over, Smalls puts together a replacement order, which miraculously gets delivered in 2 days. When the original order gets held up because FedEx drivers are either idiots or I don’t know what else. I feel that Smalls needs to seek out a different carrier. Because Smalls do their best. And I feel FedEx puts shade on Smalls excellence.

My cats did not like the Smalls cat food. I contacted Smalls customer service and they helped me try other ways to prepare the food for my cats. Unfortunately, my cats still would not eat it. Smalls was very understanding and gave me a refund. That is company who wants me to be pleased. I am and though my cats didn't care for Smalls, I'm betting most cats will.

The first order spoiled in transit and was held up in a warehouse before the last leg of the delivery. The company did not notify me of this until I contacted them. They did send a replacement (successfully this time) but the cat was unenthusiastic about the food. I decided to extend the trial to see if her reaction improved, but the next shipment also spoiled in transit and never reached me. I decided to cancel the subscription; Smalls goes out of their way to make this extremely difficult. I had to request a special link be sent through which I could make the cancelation. I did so but was sent another link to make an official cancelation request, but was given only a 3-hour window in which to reply. Luckily I saw this message in time and the company did follow through with the cancelation. But I can't help but wonder what the process would have involved had I not been able to meet their brief and wholly unnecessary time window. Cats can be finicky and ridiculous. Smalls can't be held accountable for an individual cat's reaction to their product. It's their stupid cancelation process that's galling.

My cats only like the pork, but for some reason I was sent a bunch of fish and ground bird and Smooth, bird and fish and bird and I honestly didn’t ask for it so I have tons of frozen product that cost me a lot of money and my cats won’t eat. So I guess it all depends like that I give it a two star because it does compact as well sustainable materials, but the price is a little steep
