Dear Kim, Thank you for your review and for sharing your feedback on both the pros and cons of your fan purchase. We're glad to hear that the fan's fully adjustable speeds and low-profile design have met your expectations. Regarding the issues with the light, we can definitely resolve that by providing a replacement part. We'll follow up with an email to assist you further, so please keep an eye out for it. As for the gold ring, if you're not a fan of the look, you can remove it, but please note that the gold blade brackets are not removable. We hope this solution works for you, and we're always here to help if you need further assistance.
