Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’ve reached out to our customer relations rep so we could get a better understanding of the issue. We also appreciate you updating your review to modify her actual name. It is important to us that we respect the privacy of our employees. In reviewing the correspondence, it looks like you are referencing a Sleepypod Air with snap fasters for holding back the mesh panels to transform it into a den. That version was manufactured from 2009 to 2012. Based on customer feedback, the design was modified to update the snap fastener to a hook-and-loop fastener for quicker attachment/detachment when working with more fractious cats and dogs. The fastener has no bearing on the safety of the product as it is meant to hold the mesh screen open to transform the carrier into a den for home use. Our customer relations rep offered you a discount on a new Sleepypod product. Since you are looking for a replacement part for a snap that we no longer offer, we will reach out to you directly.

Hi Donna - We're sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with the straps on your Sleepypod product. We've checked in with our design team regarding the straps. The elastic band is meant to keep the tail of the strap neat, so the strap can slide through this band. However, the end of the strap should be folded over with extra stitching that would make it difficult to slide through the buckle. We want to make sure your pup has the product as it was designed. We're wondering if you can snap a photo of the problem you are having so we can share it with the design team?
