Generally pleasant experience
The location is convenient and the place is neat and clean. I went for a massage. The therapist is fine, but the reception staff member seems to be more interested in selling me more of their programs than to make sure the quality of the service is satisfactory, which left me an impression that it is a place only cares about grabbing customers' money! And that is why I rate this place as 3 stars.

Great Mid-Day Massage Break
I was in desperate need of a quick massage but didn't want to devote a full hour. Luckily SKN Spa has locations all over the city which allowed me to leave work for a quick massage and then come back.

the worst
they wouldn't let me use my voucher for a facial because I had been there last year for a spray tan so yeah, they're the worst.

Hello Mila, I apologize for any confusion there may have been. In order to provide services to those who haven't heard of us, we offer great promotional rates for new clients. With third party vendors however, they allow anyone to purchase their product regardless of the rules and restrictions listed (New clients only). Skin Spa does however offer great returning client rates and does honor any third party purchases to be used towards full-priced services and packages. (The value is never lost). Swedish Massage
I came for my complimentary massage due to a poor experience the first time, and got the complete opposite of a relaxing massage. My massage therapist was the worst. Not enough lotion, no oil. Massage was dry and a lot of friction rubbing. Massaging with literally his finger on upper back to relieve stress points. Absolutely no pleasure at All! Next day felt like I had bruises on my back, pain and discomfort in my upper back. room was humid and the rooms located in weirded setting . Waited next to stairs to give me room temperature half filled glass of water. Just wanted to run out of there! Do not recommend. Never again. Not even for a complimentary service. Horrible!!!!!!!!!!! Do not recommend

I love skin spa!
This place is great and is affordable. I've been going to this spa since I first moved to NYC and don't have any complaints.
