I purchased a groupon for 3 facials. I was very excited. Booking was easy and the receptionists are really nice. Never had an issue with them. That's why I'm giving it two stars. First two facials both done by separated woman. -1st one was good but talked a lot when I just wanted to relax -2 one they were 20 min late in starting and I was not happy it was my lunch hour. The manager gave me a 25$ credit but that still doesn't make up the time but it was nice of her as it wasn't her fault. Another star for that. The technician would not stop talking the whole time. Even when I ignored her she wouldn't stop. It was a long hour and I told the front desk that I never wanted to see her again. I'm supposed to be in there to relax not talk about where your family is from. By the end of the appointment I could tell you all about her family problems and where she came from. I told the front desk when booking my next appointment. They said they were sorry but still doesn't make it better. I mean I ignored her and she would say "did you not here me?" Another issue is even after you say no you don't want to by there products she kept pushing them on me and wouldn't stop. I will be going in for my 3rd facial next week. If this isn't a wow facial I will not be coming back. Oh and I have asked them twice to spell my last name right but it has not been fixed in there system. 2nd facial basically ruined it for me. The only reason I am even going in for a 3rd is because of the groupon. If I would have paid full price I would have asked for a refund.

The bottom line is that I went for a massage simply to relax, and Francis did a great job with the massage. However, compared to every other place I have gone, the room itself felt clinical - it was not a destressing environment at all. Unlike other reviews I had read, the front desk staff (different folks before and after) were both very pleasant.

The rating concerns only my latest visit. In general I am very satisfied with the treatment and the services provided. On my way back home after my last visit I noticed that there was an area that was not treated, and hair was still visible. Minding the fact that I had to catch a flight the same day and could not go back, I called the front desk, explained the situation and asked if I could go back to treat the missed area after one week. The lady at the front desk was very rude and was questioning my sayings. Being a 2 year costumer I was not expecting such attitude.

really nice service and exceptionally good value for a NY spa. Not a high end luxury experience - but I will be going back.

The facial was neither relaxing nor therapeutic. The aesthetician was rushed and unfocused. I broke out worse than I was before the facial. I understand it's a "Groupon" quality facial but it was not even worth the $50. Would not recommend to a friend.
