Buyer beware!
One year ago, my spouse signed me up for the Skill Success two-week free trial, looking for a specific theme of class. It looked promising, so we signed up for an initial subscription, after the free trial ended. Six months into the paid subscription, I found that the classes I wanted weren't actually what I needed them to be. Many of the classes seemed pretty well done, just not what I was looking for. My spouse then contacted support to cancel the next subscription renewal. They were assured that the subscription was canceled, but we never received documentation of this. With no warning at all, the yearly subscription renewed yesterday, even though it was "canceled". Independent of the havoc it caused in my bank account, the customer service to resolve this issue was difficult to deal with. Not difficult to reach, but they kept trying to upsell, blame us for their error (not marking the account correctly as canceled when we canceled it six months ago), and being borderline rude about it all. End result is that the account is now marked as canceled, as it should have been, and they are refunding our errant subscription fee. Also, buyer beware - it seems that the first payment after the free trial is considered a renewal. The first annual renewal (second payment) they consider to be the *second* renewal, and doesn't fall under normal cancelation rules. Sneaky. Very sneaky. (I have receipts this time, but can't see where to upload them here.)

Hello! Thank you for letting us know about this! We are actively working on improving our courses to provide you with a better learning experience! Also, we'd like to remind you that Free Trial Subscriptions need to be canceled before it ends to prevent non-refundable charges especially since we send notifications before we charge you. If you need further assistance, you may reach out to us by sending an email to [email protected]. Thank you!
