I could not have done this without Vinay’s help. I had major gaps in both quant and verbal and with his help I made necessary improvements. Also, the preparation books are numerous, lengthy, and hard to navigate on your own. Vinay helped me use them to my advantage and make the most of my prep. I was apprehensive about online tutoring but he does a great job. Probably the most helpful were the tips and tricks around the quirks of the GRE and the strategy around handling the test as a whole. We improved my score and I was accepted to my top choice school, Columbia.

I worked with Vinay to prepare for both the GMAT and the Executive Assessment, and the experience was outstanding. From the very first session, he quickly assessed my skill level, identified exactly where I needed to improve, and built our sessions around those areas. There was no wasted time - just targeted, efficient preparation that moved the needle on my score. What truly set Vinay apart was his flexibility. Between a demanding work schedule and competing priorities, I needed a tutor who could work around my life, and he did so without hesitation. Beyond the logistics, he is simply a pleasure to work with - patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your success. I could not have gotten into my first choice school without him. If you are serious about your GMAT or EA preparation, look no further.

I had a great experience working with GMAT Genius. Vinay took the time to understand my existing skills and gaps, especially in math, and tailored our study plan accordingly. His approach made challenging concepts much more manageable, and I felt my confidence and performance steadily improve. Highly recommend!

If I had two words to describe a stellar teacher, I would say one name: Vinay Narang. When I first met Vinay, I was overwhelmed with the GMAT journey ahead of me. Vinay helped me get centered - we were able to focus deeply on creating a strong, structured path forward. He is understanding, supportive, and truly cares about the students that he works with. It was clear from the first session we had together that he wanted to see me succeed; having a mentor and teacher that truly believes in you is refreshing and game-changing. Vinay was patient, caring, and very understanding throughout our time together. He is a stellar teacher because he can focus in on identifying the exact areas of improvement that one may need in test preparation. Our time together was fun and engaging, and he was one of the few teachers I had that could make learning about difficult subjects captivating. Vinay puts in a great deal of personal care and attention to his students. I highly recommend him and the services of GMAT Genius!

I had worked with a previous tutor and, after taking the GMAT three times, I realized I had hit a wall with my score. I was landing at the very low end of my target range and just could not get over the hump. Before my fourth and final attempt, I worked with Vinay. He not only helped me break through that barrier, he helped me exceed my expectations in a way I honestly did not think was possible. His ability to reverse-engineer the GMAT and explain concepts in ways that actually stick completely changed how I approached the test. For the first time, I walked into the exam feeling calm, confident, and genuinely prepared. I would strongly recommend Vinay to anyone who is aiming for the high end of GMAT scores and wants a tutor who is both strategic and incredibly effective at teaching.

Working with Vinay was a great experience. In addition to having an extreme mastery of the content, being great to work with, and being a great instructor, Vinay had other qualities that I felt set him far above the rest! The first thing that comes to mind was his preparedness. Each session Vinay would come extremely prepared, with packets he created himself + an incredibly detailed review of my last practice test to set the trajectory of our session. Second, he was always accessible and very responsive to any random questions you might have throughout the week, and would talk on the phone even outside of paid hours! Finally, his understanding of the test is so strong that he and I worked to completely shift the way I think in order to improve my scores on this exam. He's not just a master of the content, but a master of the strategies that can boost your scores immensely! If your GMAT scores aren't where you were hoping they'd be, you will probably benefit greatly by having Vinay to teach you the content and the strategy to succeed on this exam. Overall, it was excellent, and I highly recommend it!

"Vinay is an absolutely outstanding professor! When I started preparing for exams, I felt completely overwhelmed, but luckily I had the opportunity to meet Vinay, who not only helped me organize the material I needed, but also inspired me to push myself to new heights. His classes are incredibly dynamic, engaging, and informative, and he presents complex information in a clear, concise, and professional manner that makes it easy to understand and retain. But what truly sets him apart is his dedication to his students; he was always available to answer questions, provide guidance, and offer support, even outside of class hours. I emailed him countless times, and he always responded promptly, with thoughtful and helpful feedback. He's a true professional, a gifted teacher, and a wonderful mentor, and it was an absolute pleasure having him as my professor. I'm so grateful to have had the chance to learn from him!"
