Useless. Took order. Subsequently cancelled several days later. Derisory 15 percent voucher by way of apology. Basic business - if you don't have the stock, don't take the order. They are now pestering me for reviews of the item (!) so hopefully this will help lose them some custom in return. **Update** Still one star. Two weeks LATER Skagen tried to take payment for the item again! Unbelievable! An out of stock item and two attempts to take payment. You couldn't make it up. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Only positive was helpful individual at customer service. A small mercy.

Avoid at all costs - I placed an order and chased up with the company when I hadn’t had a shipping/dispatch email in over a week. It was only at that point they informed me they were having to cancel the order due to no stock availability... apparently. They’d taken my money, sent a confirmation email and were obviously hoping I’d forget so they could pocket my money.

Skagen watches look stylish but that’s where it ends they are the worse watches for battery replacement mine needed changing after 9months but could not get the back of it I took it to a jeweller they couldn’t either I got in touch with skagen who told me to send it to them they replaced the battery £29 +p&p sending it I have another skagen watch a present from someone it still needs a battery still can’t get the back of it it’s been in my drawer over 12 months I will not purchase another skagen watch again or recommend anyone else does they are a waste of money stick to the tried and tested brands

Bought a Skagen watch via Next and it has lasted all of 12 months. Replaced the battery with a new one, it lasted about two months and now looses two hrs in every 24 hours.. Nice design and originally a danish company that are using cheap movements from Asia to cut costs. My advice is buy a Seiko watch and you’ll have it for years. So avoid buying Skagen they unfortunately aren’t quality watches.. Thanks for reading the review!!! Ad

After less than a year, my watch stopped working. I thought it was the batteries, but I changed them and still, not working. Not cool for such an expensive watch.

I bought a watch from skagen a few months ago. after a 1 month it's stopped working without any reason, it wasn't worn by anyone, totally new. I sent it back to repair because it has warranty. after repair which took 2 months they sent me a really damaged watch, the case is badly damaged, the dial has alot of scratches and the band is very dirty like a used one. I called customer service and they told me we send you a new repair label and then they forget about it, I wrote them several times but no label and no answer. it was the worst customer service experience I have ever had in my life. DO NOT BUY anything from FOSSIL and brands which belong to fossil like Skagen. DO NOT BUY PEOPLE.

I have one star as there is no zero option. I bought a Falster 2 in February which in early March decided to flash bright red continually until the battery died. I contacted them wanting a full refund and was told I would need to post it to them to get the refund. I explained that this is impossible due to my high COVID risk status and the fact that I am disabled, and also have a severe injury on top preventing me from going out. No problems I was told, return it when you can do so safely. Today they email me telling me I should have returned it within 30 days! Utter incompetence and goalpost moving. Do not buy from them.

I would strongly recommend that those of you who are here reading reviews because you're toying with the idea of purchasing from Skagen/Fossil take heed of the overwhelmingly negative reviews. I purchased a watch at the start of lockdown that clearly hadn't been quality checked prior to dispatch. It arrived broken. They didn't include a returns label in the parcel so I had to wait months (due to lockdown) for them to email me one. I posted it back a couple of weeks ago via DPD and have received confirmation from the courier that it was returned to the Fossil centre in Swinon. I still haven't received a refund despite phone calls and repeated emails. They are now claiming that they haven't received them. I have given them 7 further days to process a refund before I send a Notice of Intention to sue to their head office. I will then claim via the Small Claims Court and add costs and expenses to the bill. It seems to be the only way these charlatans will learn.
