The site is FULL of fake profiles. On any given day, well over HALF of all profiles I saw were phony.

This has to be the worst dating site I have ever been a part of. The scammers are prolific. The site doesn't care. They are just out for your money and they do NOT give a rats ass about you as a customer. when you see photos with a gmail acct added to their name or they have their photo across their face, SS doesn't verify anything. SCAM.... They charged my card after I tried to stop my subscription. They are crooks. So be very careful there. Also, when I have talked to the two real people out of hundreds, they say they are on another site altogether. Not SS. Run, trying picking someone up at a morgue, you would have better luck not getting scammed.

I was constantly getting "smiles" from members 30 years younger than me and when I send back a smile there is no response. I felt it was a scam so didnt give my credit card details yet twice now I have received threatening letters of demand for large sums of money from Auer Witte Thiel solicitors. I cant sign in using the saved password to enquire further and dont want to lest I reactivate the membership I never had. If I truly signed up then they would have my credit card details.

Firstly, they rejected everything I put in my profile -even my occupation. I had to follow their 'suggestions' or else that part of my profile was rejected. I emailed them, according to the email address given on their site, which is the one mentioned at the bottom of this page - my email bounced back! They also said there was a page with a contact form on it - no such thing. My only option is to write to them in Germany!!

I give it a 0. There are so many fake profiles and scams, you can not feel comfortable. If you value yourself, and your money don't sign up. There are so many better sites. I have plenty wonderful experiences with other sites, but Silver Singles was horrific. You don't know who is real and who is a scammer, because there are more fake accounts than real.

The absolute worst dating site on the planet, and they simply don't care. I have been on it for 3 months and get anywhere from 10-15 spammers/scammers a day. It is so bad I can't tell the good from the bad. You report them and nothing happens the onslaught just continues. I read where they claim they try but cannot stop them Funny how Match.Com, OKCupid, Senior Match have been able to stop the nonsense DO NOT USE PAYPAL, I removed my information and they found a way around and dinged me for another $200 for 3 months
