There are a lot of singles on the site, but most are so far away. I did meet someone who has potential, but he's still an hour away from my home. It's hard to get to know someone so far away. I would like to see more singles that live in my area. I had problems with logging in on three separate occasions. Each time it was fixed, but I lost one day in my search.

I think the format is good. My only concern is the lack of candidates subscribed to this platform.

I worked my way here from two other sites. The matches are pleasantly more targeted and there is something to their numerical compatibility rating system. The annoyance is that my 100 mile radius is interpreted as 1,000 miles.

I like the matching that takes place for you, so their is no guessing if this person has anything in common with you before you begin a conversation with them.

Silver Singles is VERY conscientious about 'policing' their site for fraud--dedicated to safety, and notify those who have been contacted by suspicious listings to be careful, stop communications with the person under investigation, and change passwords. BUT their matching logarithm has flaws--I get referred 'matches' from inappropriate persons--who have hardly completed anything in their profile. I suspect it looks for conflicts, and since it finds none (with nearly no information supplied by the 'client' they get a high 88-90+ percent match) which is inappropriate. I liked that potential people of the opposite sex were shown to me each day. I do think that there is way too many scammers on the site which makes it difficult to find a real person. I also think that you should be able to search by city or closer mileage area.

I like the thorough profile, however I had one experience where the gentleman I was talking to (75 yo) turned out to be someone else and 35.
