Sidecar Health Misrepresentation
Sidecar Health has been enforcing policies that aren’t listed in their indemnity plan. How can you expect people to just know these policies without having them in your plan? How is that fair or even legal? Now i’m being held responsible financially. Even when speaking with one of your team members they agreed and said the policies aren’t stated, meaning Sidecar Health made the error by not listing them. Yet your company still won’t fix the mistake.

Hi Jessica and thanks for sharing your feedback with us about your Sidecar Health Access plan. We are regulated (like all insurers) by the state departments of insurance where we operate and we pride ourselves in providing the support our members need to use their benefits. Access plan policy forms and applications are reviewed and approved in the state in which they are sold. The insurance policy and outline of coverage describe your coverage in detail, and the application completed upon enrollment contains important acknowledgements, statements and agreements (as applicable by each state) that govern the policy. One of the aspects that our members find most refreshing about Sidecar Health vs traditional insurance is transparent we are on our benefits. In order to preserve your privacy, we cannot discuss the specific details of your coverage in this forum. Please contact our Member Care team if you have additional questions or concerns.
