So when I went to go get the mammogram
So when I went to go get the mammogram, the first part of it was covered, and when they came back inconclusive, I had to go back for two more mammograms, which were not covered, but they might be covered because of the type of mammal that’s given there’s not much help when it comes to figuring this out on your own it makes you to the point where you have to call up there and ask for help which the staff is super friendly but this is something that I would’ve liked to have figured out on my own. And I’m really confused why you would not cover a diagnostic or ultrasound mammo. But that’s fine. Than I got denied for the paytient card that I was hoping to help me pay

Routine screening mammograms are considered preventive care and are covered before the deductible is met. What counts as preventive care isn’t defined by Sidecar Health — it’s established by federal law. When a screening mammogram requires additional imaging because of inconclusive results or to investigate a potential finding, that follow-up care is generally considered diagnostic rather than preventive. That distinction isn’t a Sidecar Health decision or plan design.
