Ship-A-Car-Direct was the only one that got back to me immediately with a quote ... which they clearly explained ... which they stuck to from beginning to end. They ran the workflow perfectly. I always had “Eve,” their extremely capable go-between with a text or a phone call. After being completely candid about how they charge and what the breakdown was, she handed me over to the actual shipper who had their own dispatcher and driver. I met my driver one morning and he drove the car on to the rig with the others and they were off to Illinois. I was given a time frame for arrival and the biggest surprise of all – my car arrived two days early! The day after my plane landed in Illinois, my car keys were in my hand and I was free to take my chances on the I-290. But see, that’s just the thing, even with that there were no surprises, because they kept in touch with me from beginning to end. Thank you Ship-A-Car-Direct. Great experience, car arrived from a cross country move undamaged and very quickly after pickup (2 days for one car, 3 days for another car). How do you drive from NY to CA in 2 days??
