I've shopped sheplers in the past ,years ago. It use to stand for quality, and customer satisfaction. I ordered a jacket, a 4xl because of the times and everything is made over seas. It took a while before it shipped.after I recieved it, This jacket was 2 to 3 inches longer than my arms and the body was cut for an anorexic orangutan. They are soaking $10 return fee for shotty craftsmanship. I wear a 2xlt carhardt or 3xl if I want a hoodie underneath for layers.

Ordered a pair of boots and when they arrived they had already been worn. Returned them for a replacement. The supervisor was ugly on the phone and said they would send out a replacement. They resent the already worn boots (the pair I returned). Ridiculous. Sent used boots, when returned they were grumpy about it, then they resent the used boots. Don’t purchase anything from these people.

Bought a pair of boots for my wife and she loves them. 5000 Miles in 2 days just before christmas. Really impressed. Thanks

Just awful……I’ve been emailing their customer service since June 2022, it’s now Sep 29th and no reply. Shockingly bad service.

I purchased three farmboy freedom hats from sheplers. When they arrived they turned out to be the very lowest quality knock offs I have ever seen. Not worth three dollars much less $25 each. The ad specifically states farm boy freedom hats. They were a different brand did not say farmboy anywhere on them. Complete and total fraud. Thank you so much for wasting my time and money sheplers. Don’t buy anything from this company online honestly is not some thing that they Cherish.

In April of 2022 (around the 23rd) I ordered a leather vest for $228 for my wedding. The order got delayed and today May 24th, I get an email saying it's cancelled b/c they don't have it. Horrible communication and customer service. I never write bad reviews but I will never do business with this company again. I'll buy my western gear from reputable dealers.

I purchased 3 items from Sheplers for the first time in November 2021. They arrived quickly and in good condition, but the sizing of a pair of jeans was wildly inaccurately. I'm a firm size 29, but purchased a size 30 to be on the safe side. It arrived and I couldn't even get them pulled up over my legs. The size 30 fit like I was trying on a size 25. I couldn't exchange them because I have no idea what size I would wear here. They charge a $10 return fee and you can't get the online system to recognize your order number to start the process. I phoned, but got caught in a 5 minute loop not allowing me to speak to anyone. I called back 3 times to get to a person. It seems as though they think they are being smart by pretending to take returns, but lacking a system that works for the process. I guess they don't realize that they lose any potential future business from new customers. Stepping over dollars to pick up nickels.

Great selection of US workwear brands and quality clothing that is tricky to get hold of in the UK. Prices are reasonable considering quality and postage, but the customer service is absolutely abysmal. I've only placed 3 orders with them, and every single item has come with an issue - a pain for sure, but what makes it terrible is that they do not bother contacting you to inform you of these issues at all! There was an error with the first order after a missing product code, and the order was cancelled despite taking payment. The second was being sourced from a store and couldn't be acquired for 2 month's. My current order was also wrongly listed as available and is now on backorder. They have absolutely no system in place to notify the customer if any issues arise. You have to chase up customer service for your answers. I even specifically contacted them after my recent order to ask I be contacted if there are any issues, and lo-and-behold, I was left in the dark for a week before contacting them myself to find they don't have my item to send. The CS reps are often poorly informed and unapologetically uninterested in helping solve issues or assure you that they will remedy the situation, just relay to you the basic order status information and say their goodbyes. I haven't been able to find any alternatives, but when I do, I definitely won't bother shopping with Sheplers again.
