Seriously. Do Not. They are not just unprofessional, they lie, endanger patient care, and will not honor their agreements. I had an appointment. Doctor never showed. Made an appointment the next day. Same thing. Called and spoke to two reps who gave completely different accounts of whether or not their docs had connected or if they showed i connected. I was on 10min early each time and waited for 20 minutes after each appt was supposed to have occurred. Both reps said that same doc tried to call me by phone. He did not - either day. I sent them my phone log to prove it. Would not refund money. Simply sent an email with no body that stated NO SHOW! in the subject line. Worse, i was without my BP medication for 3 days. If you value your health, honesty, time, or money, stay way clear.

I was loving Sesame until my provider forgot to send my prescription to my pharmacy. Because I didn't need to fill the prescription immediately, I didn't know the prescription wasn't sent until I tried to fill it a few weeks later. When I called customer service, Sesame refused to help me because more than ten days had passed since my appointment. They would not contact my provider for me and expected me to pay $47 for a 30-second appointment with my provider to say, "Please send the prescription you were supposed to send." I find this customer service to be discourteous and unhelpful. All they had to do was contact the provider and remind her to send the prescription--a service which I had already paid for with the first appointment when the provider said, "I'll send the prescription." So frustrating to just hear them keep saying "It's policy." Fortunately the pharmacy gave me her contact information and also reached out to her on my behalf, FOR FREE. Update: After posting this review, I was quickly contacted by a customer service representative, who refunded the cost of the appointment. I'm grateful that Sesame eventually did what was right, but wish this had been the response I was met with the first time.

This was my second time using Sesame (used the same dr) since I had a fantastic experience the first time!

It's good until it's not. You shouldn't have super high expectations when it comes to for-profit healthcare systems, as the bottom line is about money not patient care. Things were fine for 4 months till my Dr. was kicked off Sesame and I had to find someone new. Unlike other pay-as-you-go sites this one doesn't share full medical records between Drs so if you have to see someone new, you're essentially starting over. Drs can read notes from previous providers but they can't see medication history or other essentials. (Anything to make you schedule another appt, eh?) Every email and webpage mentions free shipping on prescriptions but the shipping is very much NOT free, as they charge $5.99 per medication. I had to pay this twice since I take a dosage that requires two different pills and they're treated like two medications instead of one. They even shipped differently and arrived on different days....12 days after the prescription was sent to the SesameRX pharmacy. Customer service is very quick to respond but if you need actual help, you might as well forget about it. The support agents are nice but can't do much other than "escalate to the pharmacy" or apologize for the troubles, there's no actual attempts at empathy, problem solving, or answering real questions. This place will nickel and dime you to death, which was fine up until a point. I would've recommended Sesame to others prior to the issues I had with medication recently. I'm now searching for a different Dr and will no longer be using this platform. Like I said in the beginning, it's good until you need help with anything and then the wheels fall off the bus. Updated to respond to Sesame: Reaching out to customer support and receiving mediocre assistance is what led me to write this review, so no, I will not be reaching out again.

Doctor listened and completed the task

Sesame care is careless, vague, and unprofessional. I contacted a doctor here for tele-health. I was shocked after my appointment ended after just 10 minutes of sitting in front of a screen, with the doctor being very vague and quiet. He didn't provide me with any help, information, references, or even take any notes. When I contacted customer support for the issue, they just dismissed the issue and told me they couldn't do anything. Do not take Sesame Care.

Wonderful visit with Sandra Usaiwevu, FNP-C. She was professional, a good listener, showed personal interest and is a real credit to their team. She is what most people look for in a physician; someone to help them out. Couldn't be more complimentary about her. My first experience with their platform (found it recommended via Google search) and I will definitely use it again.
