I honestly never complained about customer service anywhere but i have had it with sephora customer service.they are very rude!i ended up waiting 10min for someone to help me and when i asked one of them about a product she pretended that she didnt hear me 3 times! I will never buy anything from there and ill make sure everyone i know wont too.

I would not recommend ordering online through Sephora. I woke up at 3am on Black Friday to ensure the items I had my heart set on would be in stock. I didn't receive my order and when I researched the tracking information, it said it was delivered to my house. It was not delivered, my family was home all day and even in the front yard during the alleged delivery time. I called to get resolution, and was concerned about my out of stock items. They offered to refund me for the items that were out of stock. Over half of my order was out of stock. As you can imagine this did not make me feel valued as a customer, since I didn't wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning to merely not be charged for items I didn't receive. Also, they will take up to one week to credit your money back. My beauty insider points immediately reflected the return, however my bank account did not. Sephora needs a lesson from Zappos on over promising and under delivering.

When I come to America it's like being in heaven this shop is just fabulous amazing products and the staff are always so lovely and friendly....but there is lots of amazing products on the website that you cannot buy in the uk the money for import taxes and duties is ridiculous especially when you are buying hundreads of pounds of make up!! such a shame can't wait for a uk shop to come!

I live in Norway, however as a family member of mine was going to USA for a week I wanted to avoid the import taxes here and have them delivered to his hotel so he could bring it back for me. I do not make a lot of money, however as I was ordering for my sister as well who would reimburse me, the order total was nearly 300USD. Nearly 24 hours after I made the express order I received an email that my order was cancelled because they could not confirm my payment, no other explanation but that. If there is a problem with payment or anything else the order should just not go through in the first place! As this was quite urgent I tried to online chat with Sephora, however despite their customer service being open the chat was of course not available. In the end I had to make an expensive phone call to USA from Norway explaining the problem and asking why my order was cancelled. She informed me that they do not deliver packages to hotels as they dont want to take responsibility for any packages.. okey that is fine, but then why did the order go through in the first place, why was I not informed of this when my order was cancelled and how come it takes you two weeks to give me the money back when my order was not even shipped! As mentioned earlier I do not make a lot of money so the fact that I have to wait two weeks for 300USD is completely unacceptable! Every other normal online store holds off the amount until the package is shipped.. its 2016 for gods sake.. almost seems like Sephora enjoys torturing customers and keeping their money. Now as a result there is not enough time to order from a different website and the christmas presents will cost triple what I originally ordered because I have to purchase them here in Norway where everything is overpriced. I dont have much to say about Sephora's call center.. she was not rude, but she was not very helpful or seemed to care one bit.. on top of that she asked me to do a survey on the phone although she knew I was calling all the way from Norway which is obviously expensive! Tips to Sephora if they dont want to lose all their online customers: - If there is a payment problem dont let the order go through and then only inform the customer days later and on top of that keep their money for 10 days or more! - If you cant ship to hotels then FUC**** write it in big red letters as a warning before people can click the order button! - If you refuse to ship orders to a shipping address different from the billing address then FUC**** write it in big red letters as a warning before people can click the order button!!! - In general stop keeping peoples money when orders are cancelled and stop being such as****** This was my first time ordering from Sephora online, I have always spent a lot of money in their stores, but will never again support them. Prefer to be loyal to the brands directly. Note to self: always check reviews of online stores before ordering, would have saved me a lot of time and trouble

I ordered $105 worth of product and had it shipped to the UK and had to pay approximately $30 in taxes. When my parcel arrived only $45 worth of product arrived and $60 was missing. I called them straight away and they told me they had forgotten to put that in the box and they would refund me the $60 and I could order again. That means I would have to pay tax and shipping twice. I told the lady that and she said if I order again I can email them and they will refund me the shipping cost. but what about the $30 in tax? well I'd have to pay it again! I tried to explain to her but she said there is nothing she can do because they can't resend items if it's international. Now this is entirely not my problem. I have paid tax on something that they forgot to pack and I'm the one who has to still pay for it. absolutely disgraceful! I sent them an email to tell them this and they told me it was already resolved. Even more annoyed now. Never will I ever shop at Sephora again unless they can seriously fix this and send me the product I ordered and paid tax and postage on with no extra cost.

Did not receive exactly what I ordered - customer service did not even bother to ask which part of my order was not receiving and when I told them, they did not care.
