I order an ipad case and keyboard on Sunday for black friday deals I have received the item Wedsday the box was open with the sticker for security remuved when I contact custumer service for an exchange they said that they don't do exchange so in practical I have to return the item in practical they don't do exchange you have to reorder at full price what at scam in additional I pay 8.99 for prime to have better Assistant I ll finish my credit and muove far from them. eBay its cheper for same iteam

The worst experience in my life. It logs me out every 10 minutes After the second time it says I need to wait 24 hours. It's stupid. Customer service keeps telling me to wait and they can't do nothing about it

I am an individual person (not a legal business entity) who wanted to sell some old computer books I had so knowing about eBay and Amazon and their reputations for selling items I thought I'd sign up to sell on both. eBay was pretty much a breeze. I already had an eBay account (from buying things on eBay) and I clicked a "Sell an item" page, eBay took me there I filled out the page, submitted and the item shows up Amazon was a whole different (nightmare) story. I already have an Amazon account which I have used plenty of times to buy things but I found out I had to setup a separate "seller account" to sell items. First question: Why? In trying to do this, I found out I had the option of setting up a PROFESSIONAL SELLER account or an INDIVIDUAL account. The professional account requires an immediate $39 dollar charge and I didn't need or want so I tried to find the link to setup an INDIVIDUAL (free account) link but there wasn't one. There was a LINK to another page for an INDIVIDUAL account but it was an INFORMATION PAGE ONLY. There was no BIG BUTTON saying 'CLICK ME HERE FOR INDIVIDUAL ACCOUNT' I KNEW right away this was going to be a hassle. I KNEW I was going be charged for a PROFESSIONAL account. I looked on Amazon's help pages and others (non Amazon) and they all said I could DOWNGRADE my PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNT to an INDIVIDUAL account AFTER I was setup as a PRO ACCOUNT (so Amazon can collect their $39.99 fee in the meantime) but that is NOT what I wanted to do. So...OF COURSE....I hoped I could change my account status from PRO to INDIVIDUAL before I was charged but OF COURSE that didn't work. I changed my account status and I had to decline the $39 dollar charge Amazon tried to collect. Then I had to submit a special request on Amazon to get someone at CHAT ONLINE support--that was another 45 minutes of time I will never get back..because I had to go round and round with the poor lady who said I had a negative balance on my account and that I had to pay that first then request a refund. I said to her I am not wanting a PRO account--to look at my CURRENT STATUS as an INDIVIDUAL...why should I pay $39 dollars and ask (wait) for a refund? I was FORCED to setup a PRO account to get going. I never wanted it. I said it's irrelevant now. Just remove the charge and she said "Sorry but it is policy. I am limited in this matter" I advised her I don't care about Amazon's "policy" in this regard, it is not only not customer friendly, it is ridiculous, unnecessary and absurd because Amazon forced the situation and I am an INDIVIDUAL account now. Well, she couldn't do nothing about it so I told her I would write up a TrustPilot review on how ridiculous this procedure is compared to eBay and providing excellent customer service so we shall see if this was worth it! On November 3rd I made two orders (406-6205744-7415524 for 545.8 euros, 406-7853729-7648361 for 272.9 euros, total for 818.7 euros, both seller and delivery person are Amazon itself), when ordering I was informed that I would receive the goods today, 11/14/2024. I was ready to wait these 11 days, as the price of the goods suited me. Today is 11/14/2024 and I was expecting to receive the long-awaited goods, but suddenly instead today I received emails that both orders were unilaterally canceled by Amazon today due to the lack of goods. As a result, I wasted a lot of time, while I could not spend 818.7 euros buying goods elsewhere, as this money was stuck in Amazon. Big disappointment.

I've had my account deactivated, frozen, flagged and everything else unimaginable a seller could not anticipate. The problem I believe is stemming from other sellers and buyers who pose as buyers but are really sellers. All they have to do is make a complaint that is neither true or morally acceptable. Why do they do this? To get the competition out of the way duh. It is very frustrating and it also traps your money. You can spend countless hours and money scaling your business and doing great business just to have some devil get mad at your success, and begin to bring down your business. I've had my account deactivated because all of a sudden one day apparently I've been posting stolen goods. After I had to submit information and ask the manufacturer of my goods for permission to resale the items. All items that I paid retail price for. Amazon sellercentral should be shut down and exterminated. They make you jump through so many hoops just to shut you down with no evidence of wrongdoing. It is an absolute joke. I've had $721 dollars repeatedly scheduled for transfer to an account I no longer have for over a year that keeps getting declined and returned to my amazon seller account over and over again. Do you think amazon seller central customer service helped me at all? No they have not. After many hours on hold and countless attempts to change my deposit method, they have done something to my account to make it extremely harder to have my funds directed to my new account. Fu#* Amazon!

It's absolutely terrible, never sell through Amazon and use your money for investment here. I haven't made any sales yet, they accused me of forgery regarding the documents I submitted.

Amazon has some of the most frustrating… Amazon has some of the most frustrating policies and customer service practices. Even if you know they’re wrong and their representatives seem uninformed, you have no right to correct them, as doing so might result in your account being blocked. If you discover fraudulent activity on Amazon and try to report it, they often just send the same automated templates responses repeatedly. Most of their support representatives are from regions like Pakistan or India, they're careless enough to risk ruining a seller’s business. Who can't even address basic request and of course they will response you with automated templates which are like you are talking to a robot.

"Amazon Seller Central: A Nightmare for Sellers" I am beyond frustrated with Amazon Seller Central. After investing hours of hard work and dedication into building my store, my account was deactivated without any prior notification. For every interaction has been with automated responses, and no matter how many appeals I submit, I just get the same template responses over and over again. To make matters worse, Amazon has held onto my money, effectively freezing my funds with no timeline for release. This isn't just my experience; I’ve seen countless other sellers in the same situation. Amazon is ignoring the hard work and time it takes to build a brand and a presence on their platform. The whole process is dehumanizing and makes it incredibly difficult to establish a business. Amazon, sellers deserve better than this!
