I really liked the idea of this product. The bottles are nice and it is easy to make up the product. I wasn't sure about the smell, it's not unpleasant, but was hard to ascertain exactly what it smelled of. When I used the product, I felt that it just sat on my hair and didn't really penetrate it the way shampoo and conditioner normally would. My hair looked dull when it was dry, but it did feel clean. I don't know if the shine would've come up with repeated use over a longer period of time, but had to stop using it after 3 washes as my head was becoming very itchy and sore and I had patches of dry skin all around my hairline.

My card details were stolen after purchasing a dress. I hope Selkie tighten up their security because I love their clothes but am scared to shop with them again.

You would think that if you’re paying 20$ in shipping that you’d be paying for express shipping. It’s been two weeks? No package. No tracking number. Honestly genuinely shocked that you have to spend 360$ for free shipping? Especially when the company it’s self is charging so much per item.

Not worth the money, quality is average. They also don’t appear as the photos on the website. Customer service was very average, had to repeat myself over and over. Very dissapointing experience.

Fantastic experience. There was a small issue with one of my items not shipping with the rest of my order, Alexis not only made sure that it shipped immediately but she expedited it to make sure it made it in time for me to wear it to an upcoming event. I’ve never had an experience where the company cared enough to make sure I got something on time. And in this case with extra time to spare. I am beyond grateful and will be a Selkie customer for life!

Seems a real scam and would never ever shop here again! £100 customs fee which I know can’t be helped - but then the dress comes and it’s terrible material and feels cheap like a dressing up costume - and then to send back it’s between £70-£100! Ridiculous! Feel conned and definitely wouldn’t shop here again .

I dreamed of buying from Selkie and finally bit the bullet a couple of weeks ago. It was supposed to arrive the day I had a trip so I was excited to come home to it. Only to get a :package lost, stolen, damaged. All of the above at this point for all I care. There was a claim filed with the carrier so I assumed they had it handled. But when the tracking information said they needed further information from the sender I decided to reach out because it’d been almost 5 days since it was supposed to arrive. To which I received an “automated message” from Anna basically saying well at this point it’s out of Selkie’s hands go ask your neighbors if they have it. Whole time the package never even made it “out for delivery”. After losing my cool I received another email from Alexis apologizing for and telling me to disregard the “automated message”. In this email she reiterated what I already knew, gave me ZERO clarification, while intentionally or not revealed she did not look into my situation and just tried to assuage me. I sorted it out for them and got myself a refund because thankfully I paid for that insurance - apparently their packaging is branded! Because of course you would send a 300$ dress in the mail with big brand letters screaming “steal me!!”
