You would think that if you’re paying 20$ in shipping that you’d be paying for express shipping. It’s been two weeks? No package. No tracking number. Honestly genuinely shocked that you have to spend 360$ for free shipping? Especially when the company it’s self is charging so much per item.

Not worth the money, quality is average. They also don’t appear as the photos on the website. Customer service was very average, had to repeat myself over and over. Very dissapointing experience.

I dreamed of buying from Selkie and finally bit the bullet a couple of weeks ago. It was supposed to arrive the day I had a trip so I was excited to come home to it. Only to get a :package lost, stolen, damaged. All of the above at this point for all I care. There was a claim filed with the carrier so I assumed they had it handled. But when the tracking information said they needed further information from the sender I decided to reach out because it’d been almost 5 days since it was supposed to arrive. To which I received an “automated message” from Anna basically saying well at this point it’s out of Selkie’s hands go ask your neighbors if they have it. Whole time the package never even made it “out for delivery”. After losing my cool I received another email from Alexis apologizing for and telling me to disregard the “automated message”. In this email she reiterated what I already knew, gave me ZERO clarification, while intentionally or not revealed she did not look into my situation and just tried to assuage me. I sorted it out for them and got myself a refund because thankfully I paid for that insurance - apparently their packaging is branded! Because of course you would send a 300$ dress in the mail with big brand letters screaming “steal me!!”

A friend shared the site which is beautiful and I decided to take the plunge and spend £145 on a dress way more than I ordinarily would...panda brought it to £160..I just hope that it would be good quality and fit when it arrived...imagine my surprise when I took a call saying tax and so on would add £67 to the charge. I decided to cancel but the t&c say I am responsible for the full cost including the additional £67 even if I cancelled the order so I had no choice but to proceed ...It should arrive in the coming days but I will never order from Selkie again ...this was not clearly signposted and to cap it all the dress is coming from China! How come other brands who ship from China , even poor brands like Temu don't have these charges...very disappointed indeed.. if it doesn't fit or look good I will just have to put it down to experience

Don’t let influencers lure you into this absolute dire company. Now all the controversies aside (just google and you’ll learn) , i had a local influencer (legit in the same city) brand repping them. Now i usually would not spent £200+ on a dress , especially with them having the gall to then ask for £20 postage. However , when checking out , it is not flagged that you will be getting nearly £100 customs charges (good companies like BlackMilk let you know if duties etc are paid or not to allow you to decide if you want to actually checkout) , i got an order confirmation which flagged i may have customs , within 24hrs i had a text from DHL to explain there was £82 customs charges (dress has now gone from £220 to nearly £300!) and only to realise the item is shipping from china.. Chinese tat (read reviews about the quality been comparable to shein) now i let Selkie know i would not be paying these and told them to recall the delivery with DHL. Which they said they can’t do (i used to work for an online fashion giant.. they can do this) i proposed they arrange a partial refund of £30-£40 and i will pay the customs and they also refused this. I explained i would not be paying and the item can go back to them and explained under UK law until the item is in my hands , then i am entitled to a refund. They conveniently don’t recommend this as “theres no gaurantee they’ll get their item back” .. so trying to force you to pay these costs.. I won’t be paying them and i will be doing a bank chargeback if they do not refund me. Seriously suggest you do research on this business before buying. Plenty of tiktoks on their quality and how problematic they are. Honestly wish i’d never ordered from them. Disgusting company.

Low quality for an extremely high price. I bought the Caviar Cupid top for €193,95 and on top of that a €89,74 fee from DHL for import & tax. So in total i paid €283,69 for this top. First of all it was shipped in the same type of packaging as you would get from SHEIN for this amount of money, i expect a nice box at least. Then i opened it and the fabric was cheap and wrinkled. When i put it on the corset wasn’t even really waist cinching, there was no support for the breasts and one of the bonings was missing. Also I measured myself for the perfect size, but the lace up part in the back is all the way open cause it was too small. So, i won’t be buying here again. Also it came from China, and with the previously mentioned information it was definitely cheaply made. Needless to say, i won’t be buying from SELKIE again.

This brand feels like someone took the Capitol from The Hunger Games, added a heavy dose of male fantasy, and called it fashion. The result isn’t whimsical or empowering, it’s just creepy. This is what happens when people get trapped in a feedback loop of trying to outdo each other and grab attention. An aesthetic that probably makes sense inside its own algorithm, but from the outside looks detached from reality.
